Fukuya (Hiroshima Eki-mae store) — Local services in Hiroshima

If you're looking for high end, designer and/or name brand products this is the shopping centre for you! Multiple floors of clothing, home goods, restaurants and more. Be sure to take note that the parking seems much more intimidating than it actually is. Unlike other shopping centres that have a parking garage this shopping centre has carrousel parking which means that you enter into one of multiple bays (I believe there were 4) and your car is moved into a storage area and then returned to you when you are done shopping. No looking for a spot or having to remember where you parked! The downside is that this means there is a long line to get into the parking area, but it's really not much longer a wait than if you were in a standard parking structure. Lots of great places to grab a bite to eat and multiple areas, including some that are tucked away with charging stations, to take a break from your shopping excursion. Although I admit that this shopping centre isn't for everyone (especially those on a budget) it is a fantastic...

I was visiting Hiroshima with my 3 kids due to the sudden death of my mother. My son's shoes had disintegrated, so we went to Fukuya Department Store to look for replacement. My iPhone's charge was down to 2 %, so I found an outlet near a bench. As soon as I started charging the iPhone, a salesperson approached me and said: "No charging in the store!" I was completely dismayed since I need a functional iPhone to make payment to the department store via Apple Pay. I shall never ever buy anything at Fukuya Department Store as they are morally and intellectually bankrupt. I would not be surprised if they become financially bankrupt as well since there are very few shoppers...

Cafe has the views & cappuccino & waffles should not be missed - served in quality, reusable mugs, cups & plates a bonus! Can you see the #retro #tram on the bridge? Mt.Ogonzan at end of river canal?
