Kantetsu Kyobashi — Restaurant in Hiroshima

A teppanyaki izakaya around ten minutes from the Hiroshima station. As a teppanyaki they specialize in flat grilling items so I ordered the grilled sticks and some buttered oysters. And boy they did not disappoint. The oysters are prepared in front of you on the spot. In turn you have very fresh and plump oysters that melt in your mouth. Their slightly more expensive senbero was fairly priced too if you think about it. I can eat a whole pyramid of their butabara aoshiso stick on a good day. Found this place near my hotel, walked in and the staff was already extremely friendly and was kind enough to find the English menu for me, got the chefs choice of the day set, 5 items and a drink which was a good deal. The small counter-style seating made for an awesome experience. We ate a lot and enjoyed four drinks for 5500 yen between two people. The yakitori skewers and okonomiyaki were superb.
