クラスコ旅音 — Hotel in Kanazawa

We stayed at their city house and had the dinner at the guesthouse. I´ve been travelling for quite a while but this was truly special||Accomodation: one has to chek-in at their family hotel but they bring the baggage to the house, since both guest house and the city house are a 10-15 minutes walk from Kanazawa station, very friendly and open reception even compared to Japanese standards||Dinner: now that´s the highlight, we ordered the dinner (they change it every day) and ended up with "casual sushi" in a mixed group of local, students etc. You roll your own sushi with the various ingredients, there is a soup and so much more. We had a wonderful communication with all the guests...

This place was a last minute booking during peak season, so there was little choice, and definitely not the preference having stayed in Kanazawa twice before... But it was great. I mean minimalistic is an understatement, but that was great. The value for money was amazing, and the people greeting you are lovely. Close to the station, convenience...

Cute and trendy hotel, very homey and comfortable! Slept great on the comfy beds, bathrooms were perfectly designed and plumbed, lobby has a cool design, and the owners/employees were extremely pleasant, helpful, and gracious!
