Hanaakari — Hotel in Kanazawa

10/10 stay. Room was very comfortable and had everything that you will need and beyond. Perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional Japanese experience. There’s even a laundry machine in your room. You can definitely tell that the owner has put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a comfortable stay. The toilet was our great. It is a Japanese style shower room/bath that separates wet and dry zone into mini rooms. Room layout was also perfect. You can take the futon out to be a little day-time chilling corner and there’s a private mini garden if your room is on the first floor. We had a wonderful stay at Hana Akari! The rooms were cosy yet spacious, offering a perfect balance of comfort and functionality. They are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that made our stay not only pleasant but also very convenient. The hotel’s owner was exceptionally nice and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. It really made the experience feel warm and personal. We stayed here for four nights and had one of the most pleasant stays of our entire trip! The room was spacious and clean, with great amenities including a washing machine. We even had a small garden/porch as our room was on the first floor, which was a nice bonus. The host was super gracious and polite too - we really appreciate the hospitality.

It's a little further away from the train station (around 10-15 min walk). But overall, a really lovely place to stay...
