We spent only one night here as at the other M's Hotel on the same street didn’t have any space on our last night in Kyoto. As per the other hotel we really had a good experience. The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area of Kyoto, right next to Sanjo shopping street that has many convenience stores and dining options. Bus stops are just 5 minutes away. The kind staff was there when we arrived, we could leave our bags at the reception when we arrived early and when the checked out.Our room was spotless and neat, non smoking, had heating, hot water, fridge and kettle, towels and toiletries. We could sleep really well as mattresses and pillows were comfy and thankfully there was no noise during the night. We would stay here again in future...

Check-In and out is pretty easy and the hotel has a variety of amenities for free wich was surprising. You also have a laundry machine, smooking room and a microwave.||The hotel is located pretty near to Nijo Castle in a calm area, about 10 mins from the train station Nijo.||There is overall not much space so be ready to have a mess in your room especially if you are not alone. Also, we had some trouble with the smell from the toilets wich was quite unpleasant. But if you are looking for a cheap stay at good location where nobody bothers you and maybe your friends...
Read moreGreat location as it is in the residential area, and we were able to walk a few blocks to get on the bus or metro subway. Therefore you can go anyway easily if you like to use public transport.
A few blocks from Nijo castle, also a few blocks from a small community park with a grocery store and several good restaurants.
The hotel agents were very friendly and helpful. But the room was a bit small. Not much space to sit or put our luggage away.
