The single room was not large, but it was compact and functional. The restroom and shower booth are next to a large window (no problem since the blinds are closed), which is an interesting structure. The public bath was clean, and although the breakfast wasn't luxurious, it was sufficient. I stayed there to go to a live house near Nijo Station, but the Sanjo-dori shopping street that is right next to the hotel extends all the way to Nijo Station, so I was able to enjoy the shopping street as I went, and it was rainy on the way back. To be fair the rooms were clean and was a deal for the price. The issue is with the disrespectful employees and manager that work here. It is obvious that the manager may not like foreigners here. Why would you pay someone who treats you with disrespect and disdain? When I checked in when I was near the front desk the manager and one of his employees kept laughing at me. This manager would also do disrespectful passive aggressive things like wave his hands near my face when I was talking to him or one of the employees near him. I also had to change rooms because ironically I was placed in a room that was near other guests that were noisy and happened to be other foreigners. I left early because of the disrespectful manager and passive aggressive employees. I would not recommend to a solo...

The 12M room turned out to be not too small, there is enough space. There is also plenty of room in the bathroom. The environment is quiet. Many buses go directly to the hotel entrance, which is more convenient than the subway. The bus also goes directly to Kyoto Station.
