Super super clean, great for value and great location
----- Some point you should know about this hotel------ Theme is automation, front desk staff is usually not available at all time, auto check-in check-out, smart lock to enter hotel and your room. Luggage storage also done by yourself (lock is provided). If you want to have staff at all time then may be this hotel is not for you. But don't worry there is a phone connect directly to hotline so if you need anything just put it up and it will automatically call to staff.
----------Amenities Bar----------- Take what you need from the bar since it will not place in your room. Also new towel will be available in the morning. I would recommended to take the towel soon. (You can refer to attached image, below the bar is where they will put new towel, since I took picture late in the day so towel basket will not be visible from image) -------What great about this hotel--------
-Price is awesome for what you get, it is not best of the best but with the price here in Kyoto, this is a great plus. -Cleanliness: super clean, i mean super -Smart lock: you dont have to bring your room key with you. -Location: about 10 minutes to to closet train station. This train station has one of the best bus stop because most of famous place can that you can goes by bus will go through this station. Close to the shopping street. Daiso, Konbini and family restaurant. -Room is quite big than I expect from most of hotel I have stayed in Japan. Not that big but will give you a nice feeling. -Great hair dryer -Powerful air-conditioner, keep you warm as hell during winter and it does not directly point to your room
---------What I don't like---------- -The bed is not the best: 3.5/5 point (but the pillow is great) -It would be nice if they have the white light near the mirror of the desk. Because my wife need make up and all they have is yellow tone light. So this make up mirror is kinda useless and she have to go to bathroom for makeup -No room cloth (Updated below) -Small electric kettle (600ml)
---Updated information---- From the reply of the hotel, they mentioned that they actually have pajama, you will just need to ask the staff. I did not know at that time and I had pajama myself so not big deal. Great that they update...
Read moreExtremely clean and straightforward hotel for its price. When we came in, there were two long lock bars for the luggage, which allowed us to leave the luggage here and then explore if we were too early. The best part is that the door was passcode locked and hence safer.
When we checked in, there was a self-check in and the staff came nearby to help us if necessary. The staff were friendly and guided us for different aspects when necessary.
Hotel room wise was M for Minimalist, very spacious with the minimalist and necessary items for a good hotel. Bed is also very comfy.
Nearby was an entire shopping street, with various options for food and clothes! Quite some distance like 5-10mins from the nearest train stations though.
One issue was the laundry, not enough baskets to store laundry and only two machines. When there was someone using it, we had to go to the nearest laundry, google search: “coin laundry” 3minutes away.
If you are expecting many facilities, likely also not the place. The toilets are only accessible to those with rooms so once you checked out, you do not have access to toilets. They do provide basic things like comb, toothbrush and razors.
All in all, I think great hotel for its price and way better...
Read moreStayed here December 2024. Honestly amazing. Al thought room service is only every four days it was no issue at all. It’s not hard to clean a room yourself. The room I had with two beds was amazing. So clean, modern and spacious. There was a boiler and fridge in room. And microwave downstairs. As well as laundry. But I didn’t use it so can’t comment. So nice and quiet. And i felt very cozy and safe. I’m an introvert so this was perfect. All receptionists were amazing, so kind and lovely. I can see some rude people in the review section upset about them not being able to speak English but they don’t owe that to anyone. We are in a foreign country with not many English speakers so I don’t know what people would except coming here. Despite this every worker here was so kind and made every attempt to understand and were so considerate. The hotel is very close to bus stop and Kyoto station is 1 bus away. If you are looking for a quite, modern affordable place to stay with close location to Kyoto station I highly recommend this hotel 100%. This was my first time in Japan and this hotel made the experience amazing. The bathroom was a bit tight but that’s...
