My Japan trip has been great with the accommodation at toyoko inn. Toyoko inn isn't about spacious and luxurious rooms, but it's more about convenience and facilities. Despite the rooms being rather small, everything is just right: You will have a decent bed, TV, shower, shampoo, air conditioning, lighting, and cloth hangers. If you need any food or snacks, convenience stores like Lawson, family mart and 7 eleven are just a few steps away.
The people at the front desk are polite and helpful. Most of them will greet you with a smile and help you if you need any assistance.
The Toyoko inn at Nijojo Minami is one of the best Toyoko inn branches due to its modern design and clean environment. There is even a ceiling shower so it's quite interesting.
The only thing that has room for improvement is the contact method of Toyoko inn. We really wish Toyoko inn could have an email address so we can contact them when we really need assistance with room booking or any other inquiries
Overall, everything is just right and satisfying. I will continue to choose Toyoko inn as my accomodation whenever I visit...

I totally understand it's a very popular outlet and fees are reasonable; however, some quick fixing to give the customers convenient they deserver wouldn't harm/take...
Read moreThe complimentary breakfast was good. Has coin operated laundry which one can view the availability via the room TV, so one can tell once the laundry is done. Room TV has YouTube so one can watch some content in your own language. You can help yourself to the toiletries and green tea at the lobby. Simple, comfortable and great value! It's about 15-20 mins walk from Nijo Station (JR Station), you can walk through the Kyoto Sanjo Shopping street if it rains as it...
