I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I loved the atmosphere: the place was spotlessly clean and perfectly quiet, which allowed me to truly relax. The staff were extremely friendly and always available to meet my needs.

Everything was accessible on site, making the stay very convenient, and the hotel is located in a calm neighborhood, which I really appreciated. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, as well as a metro station, which makes getting around the city very easy. In addition, many activities are within a 10-minute walk, perfect for exploring the area without any hassle.

We were looking for a room in Kyoto for sakura season and were very happy to find this one. It had great reviews on other sites, but no entry in google maps yet, but we took the risk. Coming from Tokyo and a Tokyo sized hotel room, we were thrilled when we entered our spacious, clean room. We especially liked the bathroom with the shower and toilet both separated. You can find a washing machine, an ice dispenser and a microwave on the first floor. It's located in a quiet area which is great to explore Kyoto, with Nishiki-market minutes away and lots of other highlights like Gion district in walking distance. Given the price this place is great! Large rooms by Japanese standards. Full Japanese bath area, bath, toilet, sink all separate. And it's in a great location. Short walk from the main shopping area of Kyoto and just off Sanjo which itself is major shopping street.
