Tassel Inn - Kawaramachi Nijo, Kyoto — Hotel in Kyoto

Excellent location, great service, very clean rooms, and inexpensive. We had a wonderful stay. We needed an extra night and they were very helpful.

They have a washer and dryer but they take a very long time. We went to a laundromat nearby instead after attempting a couple of loads. We were there in July and it was so hot and humid we had to wash more frequently than usual.

There are so many historic and cultural sights within walking distance. Tons of excellent food options and great shopping too. Highly recommend this hotel for...

A tassel is an exquisite addition to clothing. This hotel is well named, as a beautifully appointed hotel, super comfy and spotlessly clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient to delicious restaurants and classic shops, it is a memorable and honorable addition to our memories.

The Tassel team, Azuchi, Hashimoto and others know all the details and they keep everything running smoothly. I appreciate them so much!

Small yet stylish rooms in a quaint Kyoto neighborhood with several world class and Michelin starred restaurants within walking distance.
