Staying in Osaka could be overwhelming especially for those first time in this massive city. There are many hotels from different locations and wards of Osaka. Depending on where you wanna be close with we decided to look for that hotel. We’ve been to Osaka many times and this time we would like to stay close to Tsutenkaku tower, one of our favourite towers!!! Lucky, while checking in Agoda, we got one of our favourite hotel brands right at the heart of Ebisucho, a mere 5 mins walk to Shinsekai where the iconic Tsutenkaku tower is located - APA Hotel Ebisucho Eki Shinsekai!!! Yes you heard it right, the name itself is quite long but still it offers the best and excellent service and offers only APA hotel could give to its customers!!!||We booked our room via Agoda which is a Standard room for 2 people at 150 SGD for 2 nights without breakfast which is a very affordable price. Getting here we need to take Osaka Metro and alight at Ebisucho station, the famous terminus for Shinsekai market and Tsutentaku tower. There are several exits on this station that are all close to the hotel but we always take Exit 5 because it also goes straight to Shinsekai entrance. From exit 5 turn right and pass thru Lawson and you could see the hotel with its clear distance Orange and Black facade and label. There are many restaurants and convenience stores located around the hotel which is really a great location to be!!! APA hotel is always fragrant and relaxing whenever we enter its lobby with its elegant and posh crystal chandelier hanging on the lobby amidsts the glistening golden marble flooring. Check-in was smooth and easy and we were booked on the 10F and interestingly it has an open air area outdoors for this floor. The room was a bit bigger than the APA hotel we always go in Asakusa and we have a view of the surrounding skylines. Nevertheless, APA hotel never fails with its branding and interior especially the space under the double bed for our luggage and things which is really practical and comfortable for its customers!!!||Toilet is on your left upon entering and same like the APA hotel we booked they have complete full-on toiletries, amenity kits and clean towels. I loved their tub even small is really enough for you nice, relaxing hot tub and water pressure/heating is easy to use and manage. Japanese style automatic toilet with bidet is fully functional and I love the lighting in the toilet. Adjacent to the toilet is a wall mounted hanger followed by a full body mirror with hooks. I loved that they kept it this way to give us more legroom and space. The Black, Gold and White them of the room sets the mood and tone that you’re really in APA hotel and I loved the combination of modern/classic vibes. They have a huge Wall Mounted flat screen Smart TV with lots of channels both cables and locals and what’s more free movies for you own pleasure and entertainment!!! This offering really what makes APA hotel stand out with the other hotels. Their WIFI is also fast and easy to connect with. They have a black out curtain and we have a view of the surrounding skyline of Ebisucho. There is a study table between the toilet and bed with bright lighting, mirror and mini-bar is on its right. The latter has kettle, cups and complimentary tea/coffee and bottled water on our first night. They also provide Japanese sleeping robes which I always use whenever I go to Japan so it gives me more space on my luggage. Additional amenities include disposable slippers, shoe insoles, and laundry blags. The double bed, blanket and pillows are soft, comfy and clean giving us always a good night’s sleep. APA hotel also offers laundry room, free ice cubes, self check-out by dropping your room keys and they can keep your luggage.||Keep up the Exceptional work APA hotel Namba Minami Ebisucho and just like other APA hotel brands you really stood up and set the expectations highly for us your customers with all the amenities, comfort and practical things we expect in our hotel rooms provided right away. See you soon when we come back to Osaka!!! ...

Read moreWe stayed at the APA Hotel Namba Minami Ebisucho Eki for 6 nights with an upgraded room that had a magnificent view of Tsutenkaku Tower. The check-in was very efficient thanks to the friendly reception staff (assisted by the trainee lady and male receptionist). They all spoke good English. |Because we arrived before the check-in time, the receptionist helped to store our luggage until check-in time). The hotel location is very convenient as its just 3-4 minutes’ walk from the Ebisucho metro station. Denden town is just 2 minutes’ walk away and Dotonbori 20-25 minutes’ walk, Shinsekai is just 5-6minutes walk.|The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and still quite new looking. Although the room is compact, its more than big enough for two adults and two suitcases (for the type of hotel).|The surrounding area of this hotel is less busy and quiet, allowing for a more relaxed stay. (We were however notified by the hotel when we booked that there is construction work ongoing next to it, but it was not too noisy, and we found that construction site did not start work until 9am and were finished by 5pm each day.)|Check-out is at 10am, and our flight was not due until later that day. However, the hotel was able to store (free of charge) the luggage for us, giving us freedom for some last-minute sightseeing.|Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, and I fully recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, clean efficient rooms, and excellent location away from the busier tourist locations. This is our third stay with APA hotels brand and have always been most satisfied with the price...
