Naniwa Shinpu Nippombashi sohonten — Restaurant in Osaka

The tonkatsu ramen blew us away! The broth was so delicious, savory, and creamy that my husband took a lactaid (after trying the broth) just in case, because he was afraid there might be cream in it LOL (but I’m pretty sure there was no cream in it). Definitely add the garlic in, and hot oil if you want a tiny kick! But the broth is still amazing on its own.

We were in Osaka for 5 days and had to come back a second time before leaving. For the second time, we were cutting it close to closing time, but they were super nice to fit us in before last call on ordering. They initially seated my husband and I separately (due to the seats available by the time our name was called), but after ordering and the couple next to me left, they made space for my husband to be seated next to me when our food came out!

The spice ramen was to perfection. There are little casual booths for you and you friends. If you order a ramen you will get a choice of free fried chicken. The chicken was so tender and the deep fry didn’t t come off. The spring rolls come really quick and are a good appetiser. The service is really nice and quick to respond it feels like they put you first than anyone in the restaurant. There is even a spicy challenge and if you complete it you will get a photo put up on a wall. The ramen was at the right spice and had everything it needed to be the best ramen in town. It’s really easy to get to there is a train station 3 blocks away from it. In total it is a really good place to go under any circumstance 11/10 go...

I've eaten over 15 different top rated ramen all over Japan, and this is easily my top 3 favorite, without no particular one better than the other 2.

But the friendliness of the staffs made it even better. They were so friendly, and what I loved most is this isn't some vending machine pay and get the ticket. It's actually a proper table waiting service.

880 JPY and above, you get a free chicken karage or 5 pieces of gyoza

Chicken karage is super tasty and moist in the middle. Gyoza is pretty damn good too.

I'll definitely come back again when I visit Osaka again, which I do every 6-12 months.
