Writing this review in bed on our final night here.
Honestly do not know why there are negative reviews which had left us apprehensive before coming here.
First off, we got a family suite with the green little grass / carpet area for reference.
The room is huge. Three double beds. We made a padded area in the green pit using duvets for our one year old child to sleep and play in. No complaints.
Secondly, facilities in the room are great. Shower is hot and powerful. Kitchen is what we needed with a young child. Kettle is a pour over style one. Microwave oven is new and superb. Fridge freezer excellent and spacious.
Bathtub was helpful to bathe our son.
Staff were superb, Michelle who helped clean our room was incredibly helpful!
The main winning factor is location. This is a gaming district and yes there are some adult video stores nearby but get over it, it’s no worse than what you see in any city centre. It’s actually pretty tame to be honest, could be a lot worse.
Location wise you’re on the doorstep of Namba, we walked every single day. It’s a super super location even with a buggy and child. Couldn’t recommend enough for all the main attractions in Osaka.
This is an honest review from someone who was very apprehensive at the mixed reviews before hand. Please rest assured this is a great sized apartment and...
Read moreAs we leave randor suites and osaka today, i will share our experience. ||Randor suites is pretty much a brand new hotel. Getting here From shin osaka with large bags and as a family its would be advisable to grab a taxi, cost approx 4,000 yen.|If connecting via metro, you will need to swap trains and its not that easy if you have lots of bags.||We stayed in the family suite room (701). It has 2 x bedrooms, 2x toilets and a wet room with shower/bath, totami area and balcony. The bathtub has jets and is great for kids for bath and bubbles.||It also comes with a washing machine, balcony and overall it is a large suite. It also has 2 x large digital led tvs ||Pros: |20mins walk to dotonbori|Metro next door, go out front and turn left|Oven, washing machine which was a god send. ||Cons|Water temperature in the shower is low. The temperature was luke warm. |After 10pm no reception staff, so if you are arriving late make sure you touch base with hotel as entry is via code keypad.|No daily housekeeping. They only service the room at the end but provide towels for daily use.|Lighting in rooms, it could do with more lighting but appears to be the design|Only 1 mirror and in the bathroom||Overall it is a large suite with plenty of room and close to namba. Lots of stores nearby...
Read moreThe online material is deceiving for this place.
Pros: large space, if you book on a sale can be good value. fairly modern on the inside, basically a service apartment. location is within walkable distance from Namba. right near the exit of ebisucho Station. some staff are helpful. Mainly those that speak English well.
Cons: the area is quite seedy, unless you're looking for renting/buying porn or visiting maid cafés. you're not renting for the terrible view. self service is a bit of a pain. Both from checking in and getting things fixed. We wanted to change towels (you need to initiate) and two of the service staff didn't even follow through with the request, so I didn't even get to shower for a day. Needed someone who spoke better English to tell me to bring down my towels and at least he walked into the back room to ask the staff to hand me towels to bring back up. the room isn't really clean. Lots of areas aren't clean, there's a smell. The jacuzzi water is so dirty, better off using the shower. beware of areas where they can charge more. 30 minutes late to check out and they'll charge you. Something about not having coverings for the sheets or futon and they'll charge you. no help...
