We arrived in Osaka on a cold rainy Tuesday. We found this gem and decided to warm up inside. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Char Sui Ramen bowl....in all honesty I'm not a ramen guy...but I figured I should try this it's a signature japanese dish...wow....mind blown....the pork was delicious and melted in my mouth...the broth was not overly salty. This was clearly a known place as I saw a few tourists stumbling in. I came here twice. I had stayed in Japan for 6 nights and this was the best thing I ate. The ramen is luscious and complex and so satisfying. The gyozas are perfect. The other little dumpling things come with a spiced chilli oil and are arguably better than the gyozas. I really loved it. I did also order the plate of char sui pork which is served somewhere between cold and room warm. It was nice too but I wonder should it be served a touch hotter? Anyway by far the best most satisfying meal I had in japan and it has set the standard for all future ramens in my life.
