The pictures made me think each room had a tiny shower, but it's not like that. there's 2 shower rooms on the first floor that are shared by the entire hotel. I went to take a shower one of the days, took around 10 minutes at it and someone kept rushing me from the outside... When I opened the door there was no confrontation by them, tho.
There's shared restrooms every floor, and I believe most of the time it's fine and you don't have to end up waiting? It's around 2 boxes for toilets and 2 for the "express pee" (forgive me, I don't know the name of those). Sometimes the sinks would be dirty because someone washed their bentou or something on them.
The walls are thin and people were being somewhat noisy, both from the rooms and from the outside of the rooms, which is very unusual in Japan. I didn't get bothered by it, but I know some people do.

I never had to wait for a shower, though I usually went after 8:00 AM. There's also a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The Dobutsuen-Mae subway is only 10 min walk...

Anyways, really cheap and relatively easy to get around to the bigger parts of Osaka. All in all okay, but if I were the owner I would do something to reduce the scent of cigarettes as it was...
