Really enjoyed my stay here. The male staff can speak English so he guided me through everything. The room is quite spacious, it’s bigger than I thought. There’s an aircond, a table, one mattress & really thick soft comforter, a mini fridge, a television & a dustbin. The shower rooms are all located on the first floor, but there’s toilet on every floor. There’s even a sink with drinkable water tap as well as hot water. There’s a pantry of the 1st floor as well, with microwave & water heater. We need to take off our shoes & wear the indoor slippers provided. The seated toilet bowl is heated so that really helps during the cold weather, I’m so thankful for that 🥹 The wall is not soundproof so we can heard other tenants talk or when they turned on their televisions. The location is the best. It’s directly behind Dobutsuen-Mae subway station Exit 8, & just a 5 minutes walk to JR Station Shin-Imamiya (Tsutenkaku Tower Exit). There’s lots of vending machines around the hotel & a Family Mart just across the main road in front of it.

Pros: Budget hotel that will give you a private room for a ridiculously low price. It's very basic, but the beds are comfortable, AC works well and washrooms and showers were very clean. Nice view from some of the rooms too. Very close to the train station and a bunch of restaurants. Cons: the neighborhood is considered pretty bad by Japanese standards. It's nothing compared to western ghettos though, may be worth considering if you're a solo female traveller however. The common area is forgettable. They also narrow check in and check out windows (3-10pm and 10am only). Tl;dr phenomenal for cheap stays. Especially if you get a bunk bed room. Be mindful of check in time and be careful in the area.

The entire experience is petrified. I have never ever had so horrible experience in my entire life due to the foreign staff who is not Asian nor Japanese.||The foreign staff is a guy with the cap on. As a tourist I forget to take off my shoes when I came to the hostel that made sense. Also it was the only and first time I made the mistake. He then shouted at me and pissed off by saying please Obey OUR Rule whilst other Japanese staff just said Oh she forgets only instead of shouting and being so rude. The Japanese understand I did not do it on purpose or have any intention of breaking their rule.||The foreign staff looks so bossy as this is his hostel and he is the boss. He speaks fluent Japanese.||||I seriously don't understand why the hostel hire this rude person. Come on I know you want to make it international. He might brought his very rude culture from the middle east. The white people or Asian will not behave like this.||||I am not asking for a five star hotel service but at the very least treat your guest with respect. Obey is a strong word and I know he is not an English speaker but he is unbelievably rude. In the hospitality industry even though it is a hostel it needs service basic service and at the very least being polite. As if I owed him a lot come on I am a guest.||||Another staff like the Japanese girl and the owner Japanese guy are nice especially the girl called naka and she was very sweet to ask where would I go and giving suggestion.||||Apart from that the TV is amazing coz you turn up loud it's the same as silence||||Like other review said it is very noisy especially on Friday night. Staring from 4:30 in the morning someone was brushing teeth and locked and opened their door. It happened on every hour. I did not get a good night of sleep.||||I cannot wait to get out of this hell as I worried to make other mistake or forget something like take off the shoes and get shouted by the big boss from middle East.||||I will not come due to this guy. Taking to the local mere y who sold the skewer about the Japan is getting international. The old say is Japanese refused the immigration. There are not much white people only up to 2. But tons of the Middle East people who worked in restaurant hostel supermarkets or clothes shop. They are rude like the male Middle East staff in the hostel. The local said he welcome tourists not immigrant ||||Japanese culture emphasis on politeness and repect. This rude staff ruined my trip and my good impression about Japan. Ask me to obey okay I will not be back to your hostel. And even in China have much better service then you. ||||I will not come to Japan and spendinf money for such disgraceful treatment||. Thank you Middle East staff you just ruined my trip in Japan. This is...

Hotel Lucky!! Easily to reach from all line: JR Line (St.Shin-Imamiya); Midosuji Line & Sakaisuji Line (St.Doubutsuen-Mae); and Nankai Line (to/from Kansai Int'l Airport).||Clean hotel, very nice and helpful staffs, one can speak Indonesian and English and also Japanese, the other only Japanese.||Room: not too big and not too small either, just fit and comfortable!! |Have one flat tv, one refrigerator, one air conditioning, one table, one chair, private look window (keep comfy and secure even when you sleep with open window).||Bathroom: actually, this hotel has two bathrooms, one is private bathroom, the other is large bathroom with lots of showers available only for men (women not allowed to use this). We didn't find any troubled using this (only one) ladies bathroom, because each of one had a very different bath-time, so by far, we didn't see this as the lack of this hotel. The bathroom itself was very clean and private, hot and cold water, clean shower (dont have bathtub, dont need it either).||Other facilities offered by this hotel: microwave, hot water, slippers, bike rentals, and another surprising event special for us was Takoyaki Party held in Kama Pub, not far from Hotel Lucky. Free one drink and eat Takoyaki 'till drop for free, also, made your own Takoyaki... Excited!!!||Other facilities nearby hotel:|• Laundry: as far as 2 mins walk|• 24/7 Family Market: as far as 3 mins walk|• Exit 8 Midosuji Line: only...
