Well, I booked a room for three nights just a day before leaving Hiroshima. And was looking for a place not far from Dotonbori||Bali An Resort came in the Booking search. Place looked interesting and price was good.||The cool and good things first:|- Location|- Staff, especially the young lady who worked there between 9am to 13pm (or maybe later), allways said 'welcome back' when I came back to the hotel after going out for activities in the morning. |- They give you alot of things, actually you want be needing many or want take it, but good to know that there are such things.|- Snacks, ice cream, drinks, different curry and so forth for free.|- Free alcohol. Thought first it was a joke, but nope. It was free. Although it wasn't what I drink, it is good to know that you can make a gin and tonic in the lobby.|- Room, tiny but hade many things, even a jacuzzi.|- Luggage keeping before check in. ||What could be/ should be improved:|- Cleaning, there are some places (like under lamps, ventilation hacks, behind air humidifier and more) that haven't been cleaned for dust in a while. |- Maybe a laundry service, since there is no coin laundry in the hotel and you have to leave the hotel to go to a laundromat and who wants to sit there for two three hours?! Not I.|- More western movies (in English).||But, I like the staying there. And can recommend the place.||Btw, while waiting for my taxi before leaving Osaka, sat in a massage chear in the lobby... Yes, there are those two for free. ||And if you're into karaoke, they...
Read moreStayed here for several nights. The location is excellent, very close to train station and Dotonbori. The whole hotel is very kitschy (which I expected and was going for during this stay). They have everything available including: toothbrushes, paste, glasses cleaner, combs, bath salts, creams, different body soap options… the amenities are endless. They also offer food throughout the day at no extra charge, including: ice cream, curry dinner, drinks, coffees, sodas, and popcorn. There is a karaoke room to reserve and spa services which I didn’t use.
The rooms are pretty cool. Even Comes with a massage chair. The bathroom is spacious and offers everything you may need. Toilet is separate from sink area and bathing space is also separate (which was great for getting ready). The bed is not the most comfortable and seemed dusty at the headboard but not too bad. The bed is pressed up against the wall so if 2 people are sleeping here it may be difficult for 1 to get in and out. The room/bathroom also had automatic lights which was distracting when trying to sleep (couldn’t find the off for the bathroom). And the bedroom lights are at the headboard.
There are 2 entrances. The staff is friendly but speak little English. You do have to pay an extra tax fee. It was not very quiet, can hear people partying until...
