This hotel is close to JR Shin-Imamiya (which has a direct railway to Kansai Airport) and Dobutsuen-mae Subway station, which is really convenient. There is also Mega Don Quijote near the subway station and it is a must visit. You can easily spot the hotel because the outer part is dark-colored and only like 1 min walk from the JR Shin-Imamiya Station. The hotel itself isn't really big in terms of the square meters and it only has like 10 floors.||||The room is a bit wider than most of Japanese hotels. There are more space to move around especially when there are 4 adults in the room. There are 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed. The furniture is minimalist but you have a clothes rack and water kettle station. The bathroom itself is divided in 3 areas; the actual bathroom with shower and bathtub, the sink, and the toilet area. It is divided by doors so one can take a bath, one can brush their teeth, and one can do their business in the toilet. Recommended if you are travelling in a group.||||You have to ask the staff for the breakfast coupon everyday and you can choose when you will have it. It is because the dining room is not big so you have to take turns to have breakfast. The food is pretty much the standard japanese breakfast like saba, hot rice, miso soup, tamagoyaki, salad, croquette, and coffee/tea. The staff is friendly, helpful, and most of them can speak english.||||Overall a cozy hotel with strategic location. The sleep quality is nice and we can...
Read moreThe good part about this hotel is it a brand new boutique. The bad.. the economy room we got is SMALL. You have to place your luggage under the bed in open fashion for it to fit if you carry the large luggage version. I wouldn't mind the small space but even the bathroom is also real tight. It seems like everything inside the bathroom is of modular plastic coming out of a molding fabrication factory. The tub has a high wall and much shorter in length than standard tubs that its difficult to get in for a bath or shower. Breakfast is in the small area lobby and offers a limited fare so be early as the tables fill up quick. Other than that if you're on a budget, this hotel would be perfect or else you can get the other premium or de luxe rooms which are bigger but prepare to pay more as this is the...
Read moreNewly renovated. Family rooms in the 9th and 10th floor are sizeable and can fit 4 (Asian sized) adults and 2 kids (under 10) comfortably albeit sharing one toilet.
There are 90 rooms in the hotel (10 rooms in floors 2 to 8 and 5 rooms in floors 9 to 10). The lobby cafeteria seats only 35, hence the need to stagger hotel guests at breakfast.
Self service (free) water, coffee and tea is available at the lobby / cafeteria 24 hours a day.
Hotel staff speak minimal English but they exert effort to understand and comply with guest requests.
The beauty of this hotel is its great location, as it's right next to train stop (jr line) and the Osaka Metro subway.
Further, hotel guests can buy take out food (from nearby convenience stores or 24 hour grocery) and eat in...
