They did leave the room twice but for a bit but definitely appreciated them spending the extra time. Not the most skilled I've been to (I've seen many), but she was very accommodating when I asked for more pressure. Ultimately I do feel more relaxed then when I went in (you'd be surprised with the number of places where that isn't the case).

They offered choice of smell/oil (lavender and orange) and barley tea before and after (you can choose hot or cold) You can also choose masseuse. Whether male or female.

I came here for my birthday and this place is amazing!! While here I had a foot exfoliation and reflexology massage, a body scrub, and 1.5 hours of massage, 1 hour regular body massage, .5 hours shoulder and back massage with oil. The masseuses and masseurs are excellent, the ambience is wonderful, and it was a really great birthday! We spent 6 hours here, also lounging in the saunas, salt baths, and onsens. My only comment is that if you are a larger Western woman/large-breasted woman, even the largest spa clothes they have are a bit tight.

Had a really bad experience here. We basically went here after seeing the 4.8 rating on Google. Wonder who gave such good rating! The staff knew absolutely nothing about massage. They were literally just pressing on my body and it was very very painful. It felt like 2 hours of torture instead of 2 hours of relaxation. And to top it all, they are bloody expensive as well. I haven’t tried a lot of massage centres in Japan so I’m not sure if most of them are like this, but the massage centres I have visited in India, Malaysia, Bali etc are so much more better. These people should definitely learn...
