Tanimachikun Hotel Nippombashi 47 — Hotel in Osaka

Very clean, strong Wifi. The space is bigger than most of the rooms in Osaka that you could find and there's enough storage space. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The bed is big and comfy though my husband prefers it a little softer I was fine with it. Loved the laundry at the unit so we could wash clothes before heading to the next destination ( we bought a small detergent pack at the convenient store). The shower room is wonderful with temperature control panel, good water pressure and the bath tub is a bonus. My husband enjoyed taking a bath after a long day walk and it truly helped him get rid of the tiredness. We just loved this bathroom a lot and wish we had one at home 😆. Though we did not cook, a kitchen was definitely helpful when we bought some fruits to to wash, eat in a clean plate, and clean. Decent location, about 7/11 mins walk to Kuromon market/ Dotonburi. Namba station is 16-18 mins walk away or you could walk 5 mins to the nearby Nipponbashi station and just one stop to Namba. A few nights out and ate too much good food, we didn't mind walking back to our place from Dotonburi or Nipponbashi station, even from Namba station, we were lucky it didn't rain during our stay though. If you are planning a day to visit Kyoto, we suggest you walk to Tanimachi subway station that is about 7 mins walk and it will take you to Kyoto station. We found this way much easier than going through Namba station and make another transfer.

The pillows are smaller than the normal ones. It would be good to have a broom set at the unit so we could sweep when needed. A kitchen towel...

After a week of travelling, this was welcomed pit stop. Great size room, comfortable bed. And best of all, a washing machine dryer located in the room, the perfect time and place to wash a few loads.

Closely located to The Dotonbori area of nightlife and street food, and 10min walk from Nippombashi station for easy commute all over Osaka.

Be aware; this is an unmanned hotel, meaning that all communication is over email. There are lockers to store your luggage on early arrival, so be sure to bring 8 x ¥100 coins to access...

This place is slightly further away from the station compared to other accommodations in the area, however it was very clean, spacious and equipped with a kitchen and washer, for the price it was a real steal. I love that you can do laundry in the washer, then hang them to dry in the bathroom by turning on the drying fan. Bathroom, toilet and sink areas are separate.
