Rex Inn Namba Osaka — Hotel in Osaka

The location is good, just near the National Bunraku Theater and very close to Exit 7 of Nipponbashi Station. It is not far from Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. Shinsaibashi and Namba are within walking distance, and you can walk through the underground shopping street on rainy days.When you go out, you have to hand over the room key to the front desk for safekeeping. There is a tall middle-aged supervisor at the front desk who is very enthusiastic and friendly. He even went in and got a big umbrella to lend me on a rainy day.There are various free drinks and tea bags on the first floor. There is also a microwave for heating. There is a convenience store on the right turn when you go out, which is very convenient.The room is fully equipped and clean. The Rex Inn Namba is a typical business-style hotel with tiny rooms and not much on frills but there is plenty to experience and eat within a short walk through the local area. The room was tiny but clean and featured a bathtub/shower and modern toilet, a small TV, hot water pot, as well as soaps, shampoos, and green tea. They only thing I didn't care for was there was absolutely no light coming through the window and the glass was frosted. I think this might be because the buildings in Osaka are so close together no light can squeeze between. They advertised a "breakfast" but don't expect much. The morning offerings consisted of some bite-sized rolls with various fillings, juice, and a coffee machine. The coffee from the machine was tasty, the orange juice cold and fresh, and there were plenty of other foods...
