I strongly recommand to anyone who enters this place to ask Receipt for Everything they paid. The guy is a crook. When you finish your free test session he is gonna push you to pay the whole amount (29,000yen) right away to get the "promotion"(in other words, pay right now or get to pay 7000Y more. The guy is not very confident wether you would come back. Gotta catch new customer right). I did not have the sum right on the moment so I told him, he made me pay 10,000 Yen IN CASH and WITHOUT RECEIPT to be sure I would come back. His cancelation policy mention the 3 days during which you can cancel. I canceled the 2nd day by email (written proof). When I came back, he, after making sure I fill the form correctly, told me that I wouldnt get my money back because it was quote "a deposit". Result I paid 10,000 yen for a free session, not very professional in my opinion. Sorry but the word "Crook" seems a perfect fit for "Coach Sean". Concerning the class, there were 2 coachs during my "free" trial. The other coach, didnt understand 1 word he was saying, ( I speak Japanese, English and French and yet didnt quite understand 1 word) he was speaking very low and looking at the floor. I wasnt the only one who was lost, but so be it, I don't want to spit on this poor guy but he needs training to speak to people. Also, the place is small and the machines are old, hope coach Sean didnt invest too much. But paying 29,000Y/month seems a little too high for this.. Now I pay 24,000/month for personal training at "Urban fit 24" proteins included, they have English speaking Coachs, and they have new equipment rooms everywhere in Osaka. Sorry but I have to tell people there is a lot better than Lifefit minami out there. Respecting people's choice is also part of...
Read moreTraining at CrossFit Minami has made me stronger and fitter in a short span of time. The coaches Sean and Motoya are capable of effectively training people in Japanese and English. They pay close attention to my strenght and weaknesses which contributed a lot to improve my fitness level. The box is conveniently located near Namba and Nipponbashi station. It is adequately equipped, so people can make the most out of their workouts. Oh and they sell Clif Bars. (I gotta mention Clif Bars... Energy bars made from heaven 😁👌). I find their software system very helpful and convenient. It is available 24/7, you can track your training progress, RSVP to classes, and more. Group classes are always fun, coz it's a great opportunity to meet people, and every one encourages and inspire each other during WODs. It's a warm community where people tries to bring out the best in others. CrossFit Minami always gives me something new to learn or improve on, nothing stagnant, I am never bored, they help me challenge myself physically and...
Read more52yr old white male, plenty of experience with free weights going all the way back to high school, fitness centers, iyengar yoga classes, as well as PT due to being hit by cars twice in my life (left shoulder & left hip). finally got a chance to try out the crossfit experience. did it new year's resolution style & got the 1st lesson started toward the end of january. today is the end of june, so this is a 6th month report/review. overall bodily strength & balance have increased noticeably, but most importantly, flexibility & mobility. an aching shoulder pain that would sometimes waken me in the nite all but vanished around 2 months into the workouts (even tho my lifestyle hasn't changed much — ie. still desk work for hours a day, busy schedule, etc.). flexibility & strength in the left hip is almost up to par as well, so it's quite obvious that the gains are strictly from the crossfit regimen. the system & the training work for me and my partner as well. cheers sean & yoshi & the team at...
