Being from the UK, where Indian cuisine is a beloved staple, and having traveled to India and Malaysia, we were excited to try something different and enjoy a curry here. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations.
We started with vegetable samosas, but were surprised to be served ketchup with them. In our experience at many Indian restaurants—both in the UK and abroad—traditional chutneys like tamarind or mint-coriander are the usual accompaniments, so this felt a bit out of place.
For the main course, we ordered a chicken curry. I initially asked for the highest spice level (5/5), but was advised by the staff to go with level 4. However, the dish turned out to be quite mild and lacked the depth and heat we associate with a spicier curry—it reminded us more of a korma. The chicken pieces were small and there wasn’t much of it in the dish. On a positive note, the naan bread was fresh and enjoyable.
We also noticed that the menu was more limited compared to what we typically see at Indian restaurants, which made it harder to find some of our go-to dishes.
In summary, while the food might appeal to those new to Indian cuisine or looking for a milder introduction, those with more experience—particularly from the UK or who have tried more traditional versions—might find it underwhelming. We decided not to raise our concerns directly with the staff as it seems this is simply their style of preparing curries, which we respect. However, based on our experience, we wouldn’t personally recommend it to fellow Brits looking for a more authentic or spicier Indian meal.
We’re sorry to leave a 3-star review, but we feel it reflects our...

The quality of the food is amazing.
The mango lassi was so refreshing — not too sweet.
The naan bread was so comforting — the slight butteryness, the fluffiness, the crispness the slight sweetness in the breads. So warm!
The butter chicken was yummy - I can’t tolerate spiciness. Their mild sauce combined with a pinch of sweetness was pure deliciousness.
Im so grateful to experience such a generous and delicious meal. Their menus have English on them btw. Def recommend to come for lunch for their amazing sets. Best value for quality ever.
I have eaten in 20-30 Indian restaurants in Japan. This one is one of my favorite spots. Good food, and good value for money. Never thought id find a spot that would give me everything I could possibly want in a set for 900-100 yen.

I had an amazing dining experience at this Indian restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of fresh spices set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable meal.
Every dish prepared by Chef Prem reflected both authenticity and creativity. The curries were rich and perfectly balanced, the naan came out warm and fluffy, and the tandoori items had that smoky, chargrilled flavor that you only get from true expertise.
Chef Prem clearly takes pride in his craft — he personally checked in at our table, explained the dishes, and recommended pairings that elevated the experience even further. His passion for food truly shines through in every bite.
If you’re looking for genuine Indian cuisine that’s made with heart and skill, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending...
