We ordered a lamb burger (pictured) and a teriyaki wagyu burger (I meant to order a cheese burger but ordered the wrong thing because I felt the pressure of the line behind me to go faster 😅). Thought the lamb burger was quite good! It’s this shop’s original recipe. Very juicy and had a pleasant lamb flavor to it. I quite liked the truffle dip and melon shake (smooth and subtle) we got. The sauces on the table were nice, the spicy ones did carry some heat. They had hot and extra hot. We did wish there were more fries. The wagyu burger were not bad. The bits were big and had chunks that were chewier/tougher than I’d expect of a perfect burger. Buns were good and really gives the burger an extra cushioned texture to experience that big juicy burger filling up your mouth feel. Overall a very respectable burger spot, reminds me of a gourmet shake shack from burger to fries to shake. You can order at the electronic machine and has english menu and pictures for everything. I meant to try the fried chicken but forgot and didn’t want to...
Read moreI was craving a Wagyu beef burger and found Shogun Burger through a quick Google search — and it did not disappoint! I ordered the cheeseburger with spicy meat sauce and added jalapeños for an extra kick. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly — everything you’d expect from a premium Wagyu burger.
My wife tried the craft chicken burger with jalapeños. It had a touch of sweetness balanced with a nice spicy bite, making it a fun twist on a classic.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the vibe was casual and lively. Overall, a great spot to satisfy your burger cravings in Sapporo — especially if you’re looking for top-quality Wagyu done...
Read moreI had today after lunch time a double cheeseburger from the Shogun Burger by Susukino in Sapporo. It supposed to be meaty, with a famous wagyu meat, but it was only greasy and salty, and instead of meat it had a lot of strings, which not edible at all. It basically was like biting into the lard with strings. Having before wagyu burgers from other Japanese restaurants, and wagyu meat itself, I would definitely say that it was "special" burger.
