Sushi Don is a wonderful spot for anyone who loves fresh seafood and hearty Japanese flavors.

The food presentation is beautiful, from the uni don piled high with creamy sea urchin, to the colorful kaisen don topped with salmon, ikura, crab meat, and tamago. The grilled salmon fillet is perfectly cooked with a nice smoky aroma, and the hotate (scallop) dish served in its shell with vegetables feels very homely and comforting. To round it off, they even have free-flow oolong tea, which is refreshing and balances the richness of the seafood.

What makes this place even more special is the staff’s kindness and politeness. Every interaction feels welcoming, and they serve customers with care. A highlight is their refillable kimchi spicy soup, which adds warmth to the meal and makes the experience more generous and satisfying.

Miso soup was good. Seafood rice bowl was awesome. Rice topped with an assortment of fresh seafood - salmon, roe, tuna squid, and a few other unidentified varieties. All was extremely fresh. We also got the grilled crab. This was hit and miss. Some pieces were extremely dry. Some were good. Would definitely come again for the seafood bowl and pay regular price. At 500 yen... It's an...

Loved this place as soon as I saw their menu: a bowl of only uni and salmon roe?? Count me in! My boyfriend and I went in around 11:30 and there were already a lot of patrons eating. However, we were able to get a seat right away and the kind lady who served us was able to communicate with us, despite the language barrier :) Therefore, we did tip electronically like 15-20% because of her being patient with our English-speaking selves (^_^) We ordered the uni and salmon roe bowl, as well as the assorted sashimi bowl. The fish quality was great and the uni and salmon roe was also high quality. The meal also came with miso soup! Overall, this is a great restaurant to try when...
