Surprisingly good food. Very fresh, good sized portions.
The food is neither French (despite the name), nor Italian (despite most of the pictures). It's basically a Japanese variation on some of those. Despite that, it's not ketchup spaghetti, but actually good flavors.
Grilled seafood was very nice, good variety. The wakame seaweed pasta was also tasty and a bit different.
You'll need reservations most likely, especially weekends and holidays.
Service was nice, but slow. They seem to cook everything from scratch (which is good) but don't seem to prep well.
Located on Perry road, so very convenient...

The owners are so friendly and also speak English. The menu is in English and Japanese. We used the google translate app to read the Japanese part as it had detailed descriptions.
I recommend making a reservation. We arrived in Shimoda the afternoon before and we couldn't get dinner anywhere that night. This may also be because it's the quite season (june)

I was so grateful so thank you again if...
