Regardless of how this hotel sells itself, it is a love hotel. Although you could stay for a night or two, it's basically set up for people to have a short "kyuukei" (Japanese for "break"). Today's break cost ¥6000, about $60. It would have allowed me to use the room for 4-5 hours or so, although I didn't need to. ||||It's not far from Korakuen Station on the Marunouchi Line. That and it's on a main street, so it's not hard to find. ||||Once you enter, there will be a "drink service" corner on your left. On the right is a "receptionist's window." You basically choose the room you want and the amount of time you think you'll stay. You pay in cash, you get your key, and voila, you are in your room. ||||Now: Let's be clear; There is nothing special about these rooms. They are not meant for long-stay customers. However, they were functional and had what was needed. Also, unlike other love hotels, there was a window with an actual view of the street below. You can pull the curtain, but it was nice having sunlight pour in the room. ||||If you are going to stay for a night or two, there is porno on the TV. So, if you're staying with your children, get the remote away from them. ||||There are towels in the elevator on the way up. I took some, because I didn't realize they'd have towels in a small box under the sink. ||||As for the bathroom and shower, they look new and they looked nice. There is soap and shampoo in the shower room (they have a tub for those inclined), and there is a toothbrush and mouthwash and face/hand soap in the bathroom. ||||If you are in that area, and you are exhausted and you need a quick place to lie down, I would recommend this place. The manageress looked like she had probably lived five lives, but she was actually quite nice and spoke some English. ||||Note: If you can't speak Japanese, at least learn the words: Kin-en shitsu wo onegaishimasu. This means "A non-smoking room, please." ||||If not, you will be stuck in someplace where tobacco is ingrained in the walls and sheets....

You are minutes away from live events.||Unlike regular business hotels with modular washrooms, there is an actual washroom. A separate space for the tub and washing area. The washroom area is almost as big as the room. ||The bed was a tad too hard, but we can't complain considering the price. The one thing that we didn't like was the lack of blackout curtains. The room got quite bright too early in the morning.||Love hotels do not have a kitchen or restaurant facilities on site. Not to worry, there are multiple family restaurants nearby. Jonathan's, Saizeriya, and Lawson's convenience store is a few buildings over. ||Considering what the cost of hotels is nearby, this hotel is a good deal. This is not a luxury property, but it is a clean, convenient place to sleep. No hesitations in...
