Hotel Wing International Korakuen — Hotel in Tokyo

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Wing in Korakuen, Tokyo, during the last week of May 2023. It was our family's first trip to Japan, and Hotel Wing served as an excellent base for our explorations.

First and foremost, we were thoroughly impressed by the service. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were also very knowledgeable about the local area and provided us with invaluable advice and recommendations. However, our stay was not without a small hiccup. We noticed that the smell of smoke from the smoking rooms on the lower floors occasionally permeated to the upper floors where we were staying. As non-smokers, this was somewhat bothersome. However, considering the numerous positive aspects of our stay, this issue was relatively minor.

In conclusion, Hotel Wing in Korakuen is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Tokyo. Its combination of outstanding service, top-quality facilities, and central location make it an unparalleled choice for accommodation. Hey dude, let me tell you—location is everything, and that’s exactly why I picked this hotel.

I caught three games at Tokyo Dome in March 2025, and while everyone else was stuck outside sweating in the sun or crammed into the subway after the game, I was already kicking back in my room. Epic!

Hotel Wing International Korakuen has this nostalgic charm—it’s well-kept, budget-friendly, and the staff? Super helpful. Especially this older gentleman in his 60s—his English was really solid.

Yeah, the rooms aren’t huge, but hey, if you’ve been to Japan before, you already know the deal. Unless you’re staying at some five-star international chain, this is just how business hotels roll here. So don’t expect a palace.

The room itself? Clean bed, solid water pressure in the shower—no complaints. But heads up, they don’t provide complimentary bottled water. There’s a vending machine, though, so if you’re traveling with kids, plan ahead. Oh, and if you need a microwave, it’s on the first floor.

Like I said, location was a game-changer. Tokyo Dome is just a 10-minute walk away. No brainer—I’m booking this place again next...

Hotel Wing International has a lot of branches but the one near Tokyo Dome (Suidobashi Station) is the the place where I always book. The booking charges depends on the day you would book. Usually weekdays are the cheapest. Fridays and Saturdays definitely booking rates go up (like any other hotels). If you book more than one night, let’s say 3-5 consecutive days you may save a huge amount of money - this is a perk for those people on a business trip! The hotel also accepts check in 24/7 365 days. Yes, all-year round! Sounds great right? The best part is their complimentary breakfast and beverages. Guests may take unlimited drinks from 6-10am and 3pm to 12 Midnight. The breakfast that they offer is light, different types of bread with spread and butter. But you may also avail their breakfast ticket at the reception desk. The ticket costs ¥700 per person and it would take 3 mins to get to the restaurant!
