We had a double bed & a single bed for husband and I and our 11 year old son. We wanted a break from our old budget hotel and went in on the whim to see if they had a cheaper deal than advertised on booking.com which they did! The check-in girls spoke English & booked us in with no problems for 4 nights. |Our room was very small and I’m glad I only had a cabin suitcase - anything bigger we would’ve struggled to put it anywhere. But I loved the room - bed was comfy and bathroom very nice. Kettle, pjs, multi charger provided alone with a fridge too. Clean towels placed outside if you request no cleaning. After 3 days they do have to clean the room for hygiene reasons which was fine with us and u can request either a morning clean or afternoon clean (latest 130pm).|Check out is 11am and it was only 1,000 yen per hour if you wish to extend it (up to 2pm). Night before I request it to be extended till 1pm and again was no problem at the check in desk. |Amenities like coffee, tea, toothbrushes etc are free and can be picked up at level 4 where the reception it. Not a problem for us and jus took what we needed. |Train stations are very close to anywhere. Loads of restaurants around. Bonus is donki store is like next door with everything u need! Lunch, dinner, drinks, make up, presents, household items-like literally anything! We don’t have anything like that in the uk! |Would definitely recommend hotel-can check out easily as well on the machines on level 4. All staff are a credit...

Read moreBe very careful and double check when you sign your hotel charge receipt upon arrival. I had booked for a single person stay which was confirmed again by the concierge when i checked in. Giving no reason to doubt any lack of clarity regarding this issue, I did not check the receipt until a few days later, only to find out they had charged me for 2 people. When I called to enquire, the customer service explained it was because I stayed in a room that was maximum for 2 people and so the hotel charged me for 2 people amenities. In a roundabout "apology," the hotel kept insisting I was the one responsible for not clarifying during the online booking process and the phone call ended when they repeatedly apologised insincerely as a way to end the call. A hotel's service is measured not only of the service provided during the stay, but also after. This not only upholds the hotel's image, but also to promote return patronage from frequent visitors. I have to note my rating is only reflective of the customer service by the concierge. During my stay, the room was clean and the housekeeping staff (often underappreciated) did a wonderful job. Overall, I am surprised at this experience, which personally is an uncommon occurrence with hotels in Japan and while I may only be one customer out of many to them, the bad aftertaste left with their handling of this experience means I will not stay at their establishment...
