旅屋東新宿 Triphome East-Shinjuku — Hotel in Tokyo

This is a very convenient location, with two subway stations nearby. It’s located in Tokyo’s famous Koreatown, and within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find three different convenience stores.

The room’s facilities are also well-equipped, and the bathroom, in particular, is very clean and tidy.

Communication with the host was smooth, and any issues I had were promptly resolved.

The only downside is that the check-in time is a bit late—after 4 p.m. There’s no management office in the apartment to store luggage, and the nearby subway stations don’t have lockers large enough. Instead, you’ll need to use a website the host provides to find nearby storage options. Most of these are in other hotels, with a per-item charge of around 800 yen.

For travelers like me who arrive on an early flight, this can be inconvenient, so it’s something to keep in mind.

Other than that, this place is definitely great value for money. I recommend it to anyone...
