I came to Tokyo for a wedding, and I booked this hotel because I got coupons through work. With the coupons the price was reasonable.
I checked in at around 3 PM on Christmas Eve. The line was very long, almost all couples, so I figured the bay view rooms must be quite romantic. I was with my kid, so we got the cheaper city view room. It was good enough. The nice thing about the room was the king size bed. However, the bed takes up the whole room, so there was hardly any space to open my suitcase. Also, our room was a smoking room so it had an odor. I would have preferred a non-smoking room but there were none available.
The room was old, and it especially showed its age in the bathroom. There was an old style washlet toilet and a very cramped unit bath, which we didn't use because we used the public bath.
I was disappointed with the public bath because there was no outdoor bath and no view from the windows. You can enjoy the view from the relaxation room, but this area wasn't clearly marked. I thought it was a staff area since it was behind a curtain and dark inside. I only noticed it because my daughter wandered in. When I was in the bath, I noticed the same disposable razor sitting by the bath on multiple days, so it made me question how well they clean it. Also, getting to the bath was inconvenient, because from our room we had to go down to the lobby, then take a different elevator up. My daughter enjoyed the bath very much though, and I suppose it's maybe a luxury to have such a public bath at a Tokyo hotel?
Breakfast was tasty, and the amount was adequate for an adult and small child to share the French toast and other sides. We didn't try the other restaurants because they looked pricey. There's a fridge in the room, but I made a mistake and put ice cream in it without adjusting the coldness level. It wasn't cold enough and my ice cream just melted to cream.
The location was decent but it was a 10-15 min walk to Daimon/Hamamatsucho, so a bit far for a small child to walk without complaining. Takeshiba station is closer, but it wasn't a convenient station to use for the places we were going.
Overall, it was a fine hotel and I'd likely use it again, but only because I get coupons...

There was also a walkway to Takeshiba station on the Yurikamome railway connected to the Tokyo Metro.||||The room came with many amenities like tea, coffee, TV, pyjamas, toothbrush, etc. which was a big upgrade compared to previous business hotels I had stayed in my trip.||||I booked a non-smoking room and had no issues with smell. The bed was very comfortable and in Japanese standards, the room size was good.||||It was quite confusing checking in at first as you had to ride the elevator up to 4th floor where the check in counter was located. There were actually two different sets of elevators, one who went to the actually room floors, and another who went to the higher floors and to the entrance. ||||There was a Japanese restaurant located in the hotel building as well as a breakfast and lunch restaurant. I did not try the breakfast as I left early every morning for sightseeing.||||The room also came with free Wi-Fi.||||I missed a coin laundry in the hotel though.||||There also was a public semi-onsen bath with jaccuzi and sauna which was included in the hotel stay. However, like many onsen and public bath places in Japan, there was a ban on having any kind of tattoo on the body. Some places in Japan accept if the tattoo is really small or covered up.||||Apparently tattoos are connected to Japanese maffia and guests might experience a bad stay if seeing such body art. However, as I used the public bath, I saw a lot of other faux pas behaviour by local tourists which made me wonder as there were signs up clearly describing how to use...

+++++ OLD REVIEW++++ Don´t look like much when you enter the hotel. Reception on the 4th floor. But it is OK. And as on most of the hotels I have stayed at around the world, friendly and helpful staff
One pillow in the room, but the staff gave me 3 more. Very small room, but it is OK. Only wish they had something to put the luggage on.
There is hardly any room for anything on the floor as the bed occupies the whole area in the room.
The area around the hotel, well, there is nothing to do. A mini mart across the road where i bought breakfast. The start breakfast at 7 thirty but by then I´m long gone looking for birds.
I f I need to stay in this area again I will come back. This time it is because of the ferry terminal next door and I´, leaving to one of the islands for bird watching so the hotel is very convenient
EXCELLENT restaurant on...
