Amazing sushi! Had a very pleasant time here. Planned on going to sushi dai but turns out i was 5 hours late and needed to be there at 4 am… It must have been 9 am when we walked by this place and noticed it was full with many locals. We walked around some more looked it up and saw great reviews so we decided to go back and give it a try. We are happy we did! Sushi was fresh and amazing. My fiancée had the tuna selection and i had the omakaze. There was maybe 10-11 pieces and it was the perfect amount as I enjoyed every piece. The chefs were friendly spoke enough English and the vibes were great. We had some good conversation with the chefs and a local We wanted to go back the next day but didn’t make it. I followed them on instagram so i will just like their photos until next time!!

I have been dining in Tokyo fish market since Tsukiji days. My impression are good fresh sushi but rude grumpy chef. Yamazaki brew me away. Very friendly service since you enter. Greet you and they generally try to be nice. Very accommodating to your request. Food is unparalleled fresh. I wasn't sure it was nostalgia, I felt old Tsukiji food taste better. However this is the best you can get right now in Tokyo . Very easy to seek , first store on the left from monorail station linkway. Only cherry on top is that if they could have clam miso soup to top it off the amazing seafood meal. This would made it super awesome.

We were extremely happy we found this place open so early in the morning. We were expecting to be snubbed because we didn’t speak any Japanese but were relieved when we saw the chef and the staff realize this and tried their best to communicate with us. We tried the omakase set which was an incredible experience of different textures and flavors. The only thing we regret was overbooking our itinerary for the day so we couldn’t stay any longer to try their other dishes. Hoping to be back to Toyosu for this place someday. Thank you so much for the hospitality and amazing sushi!

Hidden gem at the Toyosu Market! Unexpectedly good! We went to the new Toyosu Market at 6am, not many shops were opened yet. Originally our plan was to go to the famous Daiwa Sushi, however there was already a long queue at 630, so eventually we came to this shop instead. There are a few sushi sets that you can choose from, with a la carte and sushi don (rice bowl) menu available too. Personally would recommend to pay a little bit more and go for the Omakase set! Definitely worth the price, fish was fresh and of different varieties. Each set comes with a miso soup as well.

Had previously tried Sushi Dai and was a little disappointed, considering having to line up at 5 am to land a spot. When my friend came to visit, we decided to try Yamazaki instead, hoping to get more value for our time. And what value! Every piece in the omakase was fantastically prepared, and so so flavorful. Chefs were pleasant and the service was excellent throughout. Easily best sushi meal I’ve had. Will definitely return. We had a reservation for 9AM on a Friday, but it wasn’t needed, as there were more seats available when we arrived.

INCREDIBLE omakase breakfast meal! We arrived around 10AM and were greeted by the friendliest sushi chef that took care of us. We had 10 courses of chef’s recommendation for approx $70CAD Amazing selection of fish served from melt in your mouth chutoro to creamy uni! This meal was stellar. I would highly recommend coming here for your fish market sushi meal. We were treated like family and each bite was made with so much care. Finishing off with the most succulent hand roll filled with chopped tuna and yuzu rind.. OMG!! Bookmark this spot.
