Ganso New Tantan Noodle - Haneda — Restaurant in Tokyo

We just left there and I just had to write a review right away. Amazing! The food was amazing. The service amazing. All of it. We’ve been craving ramen and we chose this place simply because it had table seating. (We have three in our party). We ordered on the tablet (after the staff switched it to English), and the food came out piping hot not long after. We had the miso ramen, the spicy miso ramen and the gyoza for the kid. Everything was delicious. Thick broth, flavorful veggies, perfectly chewy noodles. Very pleased! Do note that it’s cash only; which is totally fine!

Wanted to try Tantanmen for the first time. Although I usually pass for a local, I was spotted as a tourist right away 😁. A staff member came to my aid in ordering and was very helpful and polite. Once I got my noodles, the owner/chef advised that I needed to immediately mix all ingredients as it would otherwise taste too salty. Everyone stepped in to help this tourist have a great time. I'm glad that I stopped in. And I will definitely return when I travel back to Japan...

最寄り駅は穴守稲荷と大鳥居だけど、どちらからもちょっと遠い。環八沿いにあるけど駐車場はないし、コインパーキングもすぐ近くにはない。住宅街からもちょっと離れててだんだん寂しくなる。決して立地条件がよいわけでもないのに、行列はできないまでもいつも混んでる。 川崎市民のソウルフードといわれているけど、ここは川崎市では断じてない。滅茶苦茶美味しいかというとそうでもない。だけどなぜか時折食べたくなる不思議な味。だからいつも混んでるんだろうな。 知ってる人にはまったく説明不要の味だけど（とはいえ、チェーン店なのに各店で微妙に味が異なるけど）、知らない人には謎の味。 タンタンメンといってるけど、芝麻醤が入った一般的な日本の担担麺とはまったく異なるし、本場四川の担担麺とは似ても似つかない。ご当地グルメの勝浦タンタンメンともまったく異なる。 そもそもラーメンのスープが中華料理やラーメンとは異なり、どっちかっつうと焼肉屋のスープっぽいさっぱりした味にふわふわ玉子と豚挽き肉が入ったような味。それに太めのモチモチ麺が入ってて、超巨大なレンゲですくってむせながら食べる感じ。 もう、ごちゃごちゃ言わないでとにかく食べてみろ！的な独特の味わい。 このお店で食べるなら、できれば混んでる時間帯にカウンターで食べたいところ。店長の華麗な鍋さばきをみてるだけでも美味しい気分になれる。 ホントにはまる人は絶対はまる...
