JR総武線、都営三田線の水道橋駅、または地下鉄後楽園駅、いずれも駅から徒歩3-4分ほど、東京ドームホテル内4階に位置しています。

創業80年を超える老舗のお上品な京料理がいただける落ち着いたお店です。 お店は、京料理、鉄板焼、天婦羅、お寿司の4つエリアに分かれており選ぶことができます。私はせっかくですので、京料理を堪能したく京料理を選びました。

お店のこだわりとして、明石海峡から魚介類、丹波産のお米、京都の市場からの京野菜、お飲み物のお茶やお酒もほとんどの食材が京都から厳選されたものを使っていること。 お店の雰囲気も和の広い空間で素敵ですし、接客も丁寧、そして出されるお食事が季節の旬のもので細かく創作されていて美しく美味しいです。 目の前には東京ドームや後楽園の夜景が綺麗に見渡せムードもあります。 お祝いや大事な行事などにもオススメのお店です。 また、他の残りの3つのエリアの鉄板焼き、お寿司、天麩羅も私の好物ですので次回はまたどちらか選んで行く楽しみが増えました。

Overpriced food, and neither Sushi nor red miso soup are Kyoto style. Don't be fooled!たん熊の名前を見て訪れましたが期待はずれでした…。 4000円ほどのランチメニューを頼み、それらしいコース料理は出てきましたが、まずお料理の出し方が忙しなく、食べ終わったら次！次！と急かすように出てきて、いい雰囲気のお店で店員さんも優しかったですが、存分に楽しめませんでした。

またお料理についても、正直たん熊の名を冠しているとは思えないクオリティで、天ぷらが揚げたてではなく、しんなりして少し冷えたものが出てきたのにがっかりし、そして味噌汁ががっつり赤だしの関東風だったことにびっくりしました。赤だしの塩辛い味噌汁は他のお料理との相性も悪く、なぜ敢えてこれにしたのか疑問です。そしてデザートになんだかよくわからないケーキのようなものが出てきたのは安っぽく感じました。 そしてご飯ものはなぜ寿司なのでしょうか…...
