The food was delicious despite not being well presented. The waiter however....appalling manner. Unenthusiastic would be a significant understatement. Even when we commented on how much we enjoyed our meal, he said nothing, gave no sign of acknowledgement that we'd commented at all, passed our reciept to us and simply turned away. It wasn't just us either. We saw the same commitment to service shown to 2 other tables as well. This would rate as the worst service we've seen in the 6 weeks here. Well done.

We had a disappointing experience at Ahilya. Worst South Indian Food in their menu. Dosa was very dry. They even could not get the correct order. Even North Indian food portion was small and taste was not upto the mark for what they are charging. Rotis were so small which were costing 350 each. Roomali Rotis were also chewy 🥵Even though the restaurant was only 25% occupied, orders were very late

Only thing we liked was the starters and the garlic Naan. But seriously who pays 7000 per person for just having good starters. Be ready to be disappointed if you are ordering anything other than starters and Lassi.

Hope they can improve their South Indian Cuisine and the portion size of North...

Unusually broad menu, but I can still only give it 4 stars. A little high on the lunch prices, but especially high for dinner. Upscale place with a very nice atmosphere. Separate menus for northern and southern Indian food, so I'm pretty sure it's very authentic. However, very quiet at opening time, so I wish places like this would have a teatime special or something. Google Maps was again kind of misleading, but I finally spotted it when I came back the second time. It's a ways back from the road, about 10 meters.
