Major complaint at bottom . . . 👎

These pancakes from this cafe have been hyped up on SNS for a while so wanted to try

Came here early on for lunch. Didn’t think they would live up to hype since I’m not a fan of fuwafuwa pancakes.

🥞 the original Belcomo pancakes were actually pretty good 😊 Instead of fuwafuwa pancakes, it’s more similar to one of those pancakes hotcakes types. A lot of butter and vanilla flavor that mix well

The mixed / bad . . . I came here to try out the spot so perhaps I could come back here for a date with partner.

The atmosphere is fancy but it’s pretty loud. I couldn’t really hear myself think over thre music and other guests (it was maybe half full)

Service from staff was super friend. Water came quick.

My MAJOR issue is that I only came to try the pancakes. Didn’t need their overpriced drink (starting at 900-1000 yen)

So I finished meal and staff suddenly told me one drink was REQUIRED. I have no issue if this was written anywhere (it was not on menu) or told by staff early on.

Staff told me it was only written on the website. I speak Japanese and couldn’t find this bs. Just tell people up front instead of lying 💀

A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at THE BELCOMO, THE AOYAMA GRAND HOTEL

I had the pleasure of dining at THE BELCOMO twice recently on Saturday and again on Tuesday and both visits were nothing short of fantastic. The food was consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and offered great value for money. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both quality and affordability, and THE BELCOMO does it effortlessly.

What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff were warm, cheery, and genuinely welcoming. I would like to especially compliment Moe Kawano-san for her outstanding hospitality. She made us feel incredibly welcome with her friendly and attentive manner, an absolute gem of a host. I’d also like to mention another young lady (whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t catch) who served us. She was just as lovely, gracious, observant, and always ready to assist.

From start to finish, the service was what I would confidently describe as Best In Class. It’s this combination of wonderful food and heartfelt service that makes THE BELCOMO a standout. I will most certainly be returning, and I look forward to my next visit.

This was my second visit and I used the cafe. As usual, the restaurant was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and I had a great time. The Basque cheesecake and coffee were delicious, and the fun atmosphere made me forget about the time I spent there. They also have good measures to prevent coronas, such as alcohol disinfection and temperature check. I will come back again.

A dining bar located in THE Aoyama Grand Hotel. There are many dishes that you won't find anywhere else, and all of them are delicious, so you will want to try them all✨ If you go for dinner a little early, you can get lucky time and drink at a discount. The restaurant also has terrace seating, so it's a good place to have lunch outside with friends or family on a warm day in the coming season. Of course, the atmosphere at night is also very nice, so I recommend it. I would like to visit again with a hotel stay next time!! I enjoyed the French fries with truffle flavor, beef tongue and orange carpaccio, and many other things… I want to eat...
