HAUTE COUTURE BRUNCH（オートクチュールブランチ） — Restaurant in Tokyo

We tried the limited Shine-Muscat Afternoon Tea. Usually, I don’t expect much from Instagram-worthy afternoon teas in terms of taste, but to our surprise, this one was actually delicious! The whole course focused on muscat and green ingredients, but with accents like uni, mint, and shiso etc, that kept the flavors fun and well-balanced until the very end. The only downside was that the restaurant was very busy—we had to wait about 15 minutes past our reserved time. Later, when we asked a waiter to take a photo of usafter most of the food was served, we were told to wait until the parfait arrived for a better picture. That meant waiting more than 10 minutes without touching anything, and in the end, they said the parfait would take longer to prepare, so we should go ahead and start eating. The staff were clearly doing their best, rushing around to keep up, but we felt they could use a few more hands to make things smoother. Still, we really enjoyed the fancy, flower-filled atmosphere that felt almost like a fairy-tale garden, along with the carefully crafted dishes. I took my daughter here for her 13th birthday and she and I had the best time enjoying taking photos and taking in the beautiful atmosphere that the staff meticulously puts together for customers to enjoy each season. We will most definitely be coming back. And as English speakers we were also Very pleased that there were menus in English, and the staff were also able to communicate with us in English too, although we were fully prepared to use Google translate. Overall, this was a phenomenal experience and I cannot recommend this location enough! I’ve visited the other Haute Couture Cafés in Tokyo several times, so I was excited to check out the new branch that opened in July 2025 near Gaienmae Station. Just like the other locations, this café has a beautiful atmosphere with stunning flower decorations - perfect for photos!

What’s nice about this branch is that you can enter without a reservation and order directly from the menu, or choose to pre-order different courses online. We tried a few savory dishes, and I especially enjoyed the pasta and salad—the grapes in the salad were such a creative and delicious touch. The lemonade was also fantastic.
