Very clean and unassumingly elegant hotel that made my stay (2 adults and 3 kids ranging from toddlers to tween) very comfortable. I appreciate the air being fresh in the hotel with no hint of cigarette smell at all. ||The room configuration was good, I liked that I could close the room door while keeping the corridor lights switched on in the mornings for me to pack the luggages and get ready, etc without disturbing the kids. I stayed the deluxe twin room and it was good for my family with one big luggage, 3 cabin sized luggages and two bigger bags. ||Breakfast buffet was lovely with a both Japanese and western food. Various selections of tea, coffee, juices, milk. I personally prefer Japanese with all it condiments and my kids took the western with no complaints. Sweet fresh persimmon and pineapples were also on the buffer menu.||There is a family mart directly opposite this hotel, such convenience! I enjoyed the tuna onigiri, and also had hot steamed buns (korobuta pork!). Of course snacks galore. Many stations within walkable distance. If you prefer the taxi, we had no problems getting one stepping out of the lobby. The streets itself was peaceful and not too quiet nor busy. ||The front desk were polite and helpful. Hotel Toshi Centre hotel exceeded my expectations for this price point and I whole-heartedly recommend this...
Read moreThe hotel is on a very quiet street. You can take the limousine bus from Narita Airport and get off at Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho, then go up the elevator on the left rear to the 4th floor, which is the ground, and the hotel is across the street, which is very convenient. Although the room facilities are a bit old, they are very clean and there is no problem in using them. Hotel staff are very enthusiastic! I took the wrong luggage at the airport. I consulted the front desk staff. The front desk staff called Narita Airport for me. Later, I contacted the airline to get a solution for my luggage. I was a little flustered when I encountered this kind of thing when I came to Japan for the first time, but the hotel staff was very kind. Enthusiastic and responsible! I am very grateful to Ms. Li (李さん) at the front desk, who explained to me how the airport handles luggage and similar situations encountered before, and solved many problems! I would also like to thank another Mr at the front desk (I'm sorry I didn't see the surname, he might be Japanese), who helped me make many calls to the airport. If I have the opportunity to live nearby, I will definitely choose this hotel again! I will also recommend this hotel to those in need! ...
Read moreThe Toshi Center Hotel offered a comfortable stay, especially during my conference attendance. Both the single and double rooms I stayed in were compact yet comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities and boasting good views. Not having experienced breakfast at the hotel, my interactions were mostly with the staff, who were satisfactory in their roles, with the cleaning staff being notably friendly. The provision of essentials like shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the rooms, which were a bit dated yet comfortable, was appreciated. The room temperature and Wi-Fi quality were also satisfactory. There is a 24/7 grocery in front of the hotel.
My dissatisfaction arose from an additional charge of 3,000 yen imposed by the hotel for discarding a broken luggage piece, which seemed unjustified after a week-long stay. Also, having previously stayed in other Japanese hotels with onsens, the absence of a spa or gym in the Toshi Center Hotel was a missed opportunity for enhanced relaxation and convenience. I would have liked to stay in a non-smoking room but I was not given...
