From the moment I arrived at Hotel New Otani Executive House Zen, I was blown away by the sheer elegance and attention to detail. This hotel redefines luxury with its unparalleled service, stunning aesthetics, and world-class amenities.
First, I must rave about the staff. Their over-the-top kindness and genuine care made my stay extraordinary. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and efficient—whether it was a warm greeting upon arrival, their readiness to assist with any request, or their ability to anticipate my needs before I even expressed them. It was hospitality at its absolute finest.
The room was immaculate and far exceeded expectations. It was oversized (especially for Tokyo), beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. Every detail of the space, from the plush bedding to the high-end toiletries, was curated for ultimate comfort and sophistication.
One of the standout highlights was the exclusive access to the Executive Lounge. The food and drink offerings were nothing short of amazing, with a wide selection of delectable bites and beverages that satisfied every craving. Whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast, afternoon tea, or evening cocktails, the experience felt both indulgent and serene.
The hotel’s location is another big plus. It’s incredibly convenient to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. Yet, despite being in the heart of Tokyo, the hotel felt like a peaceful sanctuary.
And the beauty! The overall design of the hotel is breathtaking, blending modern luxury with traditional Japanese elegance. The gardens are a masterpiece—lush, serene, and meticulously maintained. Strolling through them was an experience of pure tranquility.
Hotel New Otani Executive House Zen is, without a doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I cannot recommend it enough, and I hope to return on my next visit to Tokyo. This is a destination that sets the bar for luxury...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to spend a couple of nights at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo in the "Executive House Zen". I was highly impressed with the quality of service, amenities, cruise ship-scale of facilities (30+ restaurants?!), at a significantly lower price point than other 5 star hotels we stayed at across Japan. Further, this hotel does not engage in the "nickle and dime" approach that can sometimes be an issue at luxury hotels. For instance, the minibar in the room was stocked with non-alcoholic beverages, all of which were complimentary during our stay. The bathroom amenities were also very nice.
The folks at the Executive Lounge were all amazing and eager to assist in any way they could. I wanted to give a shout-out to Motoshi Terao, Assistant Manager, for going above and beyond for us. We hadn't made any reservations for meals at the hotel, and they were full for the night, so Terao-san found another local restaurant for us to try as we wanted to do Yakitori before leaving. He phoned and made a reservation for us, and even gave us a piece of paper with a few dishes he recommended. It was all delicious (of course, it's Japan!) and a great way to end our trip to Japan.
The breakfast buffet at Satsuki was AMAZING and we received great service there as well.
Let's not forget the garden, which is actually huge, it's not just good angles by the marketing team to make it look good. It really is that big. And of course, it's very beautiful and calming- I recommend checking it out both during the day and at night.
The hotel is quite close to Akasaka-mitsuke station, which is good but please be aware that rush hour the Ginza and Marinouchi lines can get quite busy.
I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel, I only wish we had a few more nights there so we could have tried all the restaurnts. If you aren't sure, please try it, you...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed in Executive House Zen for the last 3 nights of our trip and honestly it should have been longer. The service was commendable. Ms. Karen Sadaishi went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. She made a phone call to make a dinner reservation, and even called the Asics Harajuku store multiple times for a special request. She kept me up to date with my request via email while we were out exploring Tokyo. We were truly grateful for her excellent service. Our room was upgraded the moment we checked in, and we had a great view of the Rose Garden. The bathroom was amazing (well lit mirror and great water pressure in the shower). We also loved the chocolates left on our bedside every night. The fridge was always well stocked and the options were endless. The lounge on our floor was a pleasant surprise. We always had an option to dine there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just stop by for some snacks and tea. You can even catch a view of Fuji-san if the weather is nice that day. The location is pretty good, although it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest station. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we ever enjoyed, with seemingly endless options. I also went to Satsuki restaurant for their seasonal Tottori Wagyu burger, and it is probably the best burger I ever had. I even went back for dinner on the last night, but they were out of stock for the day. Mr. Tamura helped us load our luggage to the taxi on our last day. We had a friendly conversation about our favorite Pokemon while we were waiting for the cab. The staff was truly hospitable and enhanced our stay. We loved it here and we...
