I booked through third party, the hotel's name is Grand Ai Ser. Several days before arriving I checked the cost for Yandex from the airport, but Yandex could not locate. So I did an investigation through maps turned out that the real name is Regardal Hotel. Then a day before check in I received an email mentioning its real name which was too late as I've already figuref it out myself. The check in was ok, and after payment I told the reception lady that I would collect the receipt when I check out the following day. She said yes, so I assumed she passed the message to her colleague who worked the following day, but she seemed not. So when I checked out, when I asked for the receipt, it was not ready, then I went to toilets. When I returned to the reception, she said to wait for another 5 minutes, which you know it could be 15 minutes. So I decided to left without a receipt as my driver has already come. Bad management! Also, another surprising thing is that my room's door handle was broken and the door itself was also broken! No wonder the hotel rating...
Read moreRegardal Hotel in Almaty is a worst hotel in pathetic conditions so far as rooms are concerned...staff especially reception area are very rude and inhuman.. adamant also...they don't listen your request..they don't know even A.B.C. of hospitality...room Almira was found broken and there were plumber work problems...were not fixed by them..the room was very dirty..despite repeated request they didn't get the room cleaned in three days....breakfast was not proper and appropriate...even they didn't provide breads and toasters in the restaurant...they provide juice mixed with water...I recommend that no one should stay here if anyone do so he would spoil his holidays. I stayed in Regardal hotel for four nights from 12.09.24 to 16.09.24 with my wife and spoiled my holidays...so don't book...
