Save yourself and book for a better hotel! Stayed here for 5nights in this supposedly “International” hotel, nothing international about it sad to say. Worst 4star hotel I ever experienced! AC wasn’t working. It was so challenging to sleep! When asked the reception, they kept saying tomorrow, tomorrow never happened. Breakfast was so so. Staff (who struggle with even basic english) was so rude to turn off the lights while people were still eating just because breakfast ends at 10. It was only 10mins past. Don’t expect modern furniture or eye-catching design, though - the interior has a rather basic soviet charm. The breakfast buffet was really amazing: different types of croissants, juices, salad and a warm dishes, also pancakes and baked eggs. You can use the sauna for free (make a reservation to have it to yourself) and the gym room is well-equipped. Read moreThis hotel is expensive for what you get. for this money I would expect so much better when compared to western Europe hotels. Staff speak good English, but do not do anything out of their way to help. The shower in my room leaks, and will go from Ice to red hot magma in seconds and back again. Looks like its been broken a long time.
However, wifi is ok, room is clean, Breakfast is a buffet, and is not kept refrigerated.
I would not choose to stay here again.
watch out if you ask them to book you a taxi to the aiport, 3000 kzt for the taxi, paid in cash .. or via the hotel, for the same taxi, 3,500...
