Eron Hotel — Hotel in Nairobi

We took the Modern Coach bus from Mombasa and the bus passed by this hotel, so we just walked there after we got off the bus with our big packs on our backs. It had everything we needed, hot water shower, a nice big bed with mosquito net, and they even bring free breakfast to your room at the time you want it in the morning. We are vegan, and they accommodated our diet with veggie stew, fresh fruit, and chapatis. The room had a hot water boiler and kitchen sink. The wifi is sufficient for checking emails but not for video streaming. The staff were very friendly & helpful, and spoke great English. Two days later, we took an Uber to the Easy Coach bus station, which was a little bit further away, but the taxi ride...

I'm enjoying my stay here. Cost effective is a key word for me. The price is definitely right. My room is like an efficiency. There is space to move around. Microwave, stove , toaster, fridge, sink, dishes, entertainment systems, breakfast delivered. Clean and comfortable. Extra dose of Kenyan Hospitality... the management and workers are great 4 stars don't seem fair. However as a tourist the Downtown location is crowded and there is a lot of activity in the area... people working for a living. Still it's all good. Uber of Taxify pick you right at the entrance...and the Security Guard escort you to the vehicle. This is my new destination after landing at JKIA. My wife and I have found a good place...
