Kaldis Coffee House Ltd — Restaurant in Nairobi

The quality of every single thing at Kaldis has gone down. We were served drinks in chipped glasses, the waiter took forever to attend to us, and when he did he kept forgetting our order and bringing an incorrect meal, most items on the menu were not available, the loo was smelly, at some point the lights went off and we were sitted in darkness for almost 5 minutes, there was no music playing, the pdq machines weren't working... Tsk tsk I wonder what happend to Kaldis, it used to...

Kaldi's along Kimathi Street is a shadow of its former self. One aspect that is constant is the hostile staff. The quality of the food has gone down, the place looks like a smokers' heaven, and the atmosphere is not exciting. It is not congested which is most likely a function of its lack of glamour. First time at Kaldis the staff are nice however, I tried the Thai Chicken Salad not so good. The dressing on it wasn't good at all made the whole salad taste sour and unfresh. I also had a virgin Mojito I requested for no ice in it but in place I feel like they stuffed a lot of mint leaves which overwhelmed the whole drink and the taste.
