On arrival into the hotel lobby it looks nice, the people on the front desk are friendly and helpful, got to are room which was a suite 2 rooms and a bathroom looked nice, bit unsure why there is a kitchen as not needed, apart from the fridge, the room does come with a small safe for smaller items only, but still good to have bed was comfortable and clean, towels were all a good quality and clean unfortunately no tv in the bedroom, it did have one in the other room that had a sofa bed but it didn’t work with normal tv channels, got told only the first 4 floors work, so our room that is not expensive doesn’t 🤔 |The Biggest disappointment was THE POOL WASN’T HEATED AS ADVERTISED and we booked the hotel hope after 5 days safari we would relax in the pool |I did speak with the front desk but they tryed to tell us that it’s not supposed to be 🤔but later we did speak with the manager who has only recently started working for the hotel s apologise and told us there is some issues and they are trying to get it working? Along with other improvements he is trying to implement. We were given a meal in the restaurant one evening which l did have to suggest as a form of apology, shame it was not put to us first.|The restaurant is nice and colourful and bright not so many tables so maybe not use so much which is a shame as the food is very good |Breakfast is good and all the hot food is hot and a good selection of other cold foods like cheese and crackers breads pastry, juices and good coffee. Service is very good |We had happy hr which we got told by the manager they don’t have, so we had to show him that it is advertised in your lift on a digital screen, when he looked with us he said he will honour it for the time we’re here, so that was good and l have to say the cocktails are amazing and not expensive at all so we did take advantage of that 🤣 the manager is trying to sort the problems out |The pool is nice with sun beds and towels but because not so many people in the hotel we had to keep asking for some one to come up so we could order food and drinks l think when more busy then I suppose it will be Maned l hope |It also has hot showers changing room so that’s good |It has a gym with some free weights and running machines |We did have a good time, despite the hotel not being very full |Would I come again? Yes definitely if all improvements take place it is definitely worth the stay, especially a heated pool will be good |The hotel is also very well placed to get around walking distance to a shopping mall, and plenty of bars and restaurants |We also found it to be quite safe even at night, Uber and bolt work over here but uber is more reliable |June and July is the...
Read moreMy friend and i had such a stellar experience! From booking through Vijal who was an excellent communicator, factored in my request for a room with a good view of Westlands, she really made the booking experience seamless and handled me with utmost professionalism which was a good first sign of a great staycation.||We got there and the receptionists were so professional and warm, we were checked in and when we got to the room! Everything we hoped for and then some!! It was so beautiful, great views from the 9th floor, clean, aesthetically pleasing (minimal and cute), did the usual mattress and shower tests and both were ✅️✅️ we were ready for a great night!||We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel called The Perch and yes! The Fettuccine Carbonara I had still lives in my head rent free, my friend had the Tenderloin Steak which also banged. Service was top tier, we were very well taken care of.||We wanted to checkout all the amenities so we are well guided for a longer stay. They have a gym, a heated pool, a boardroom, an events room (hello corporates 🙋♀️) we didn't manage to do a full on tour for me to review each of them indepth but from the bits I saw, hit them up and Vijal will be more than happy to assist.||The breakfast spread in the morning was very extensive which I really appreciate when I go to hotels, I like me a good spread! It's served from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. The cinnamon rolls??? A1! 😋😋||Overall we had a really good experience and would highly recommend for short and long stays, it's conveniently located at the heart of Westlands with close proximity to many places. Westgate Mall is a 5 minutes walk, Sarit Centre is a 10 minutes drive max so...

My stay at Kingfisher Nest Suites in Nairobi’s bustling Westlands district was a refreshing blend of convenience and comfort, ideal for travelers seeking a home-away-from-home experience. The hotel’s prime location places it within walking distance of major hubs like Westgate Mall and Sarit Centre, as well as popular dining spots such as Brew Bistro and Art Café, making it effortless to explore the area’s vibrant energy .
Amenities The rooftop infinity pool and sun terrace provided a serene escape with panoramic city views, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing . The onsite restaurant, FeastOn, served a diverse breakfast spread with continental and à la carte options, though some dishes leaned toward the pricier side. The gym, though compact, had sufficient equipment for a quick workout, and the 24-hour front desk ensured seamless service .
Service Staff professionalism stood out—friendly, attentive, and quick to resolve issues, whether arranging last-minute reservations or addressing minor requests. Housekeeping maintained impeccable cleanliness, though there was a brief delay in delivering extra towels during peak hours .
Final Impressions Kingfisher Nest Suites excels in balancing practicality with comfort. Its spacious rooms, strategic location, and attentive service make it a strong choice for both business travelers and families. While not the most luxurious option, it delivers consistent quality and a welcoming atmosphere—a place I’d confidently recommend for a hassle-free...
