Progessive Park Hotel — Hotel in Nairobi

The compound is beautiful with friendly receptionists. The rooms are spacious and really beautiful. The problem is the beds! The mattresses are cheap $25, they literally hurt to sleep on! I had to wake up at night to take some rest, seriously! I wonder why they have tiles on the perimeter wall when they'd invest all of that in good quality mattresses! They didn't provide us with slippers and we had to complain to be given bath mats and a couple of cheap slippers, after we all complained. They provided us with the cheapest tissue paper! I had to complain about that as well for them to upgrade, slightly. The twin beds are so tiny! Something makes me think the non-kenyan hosts had better stuff but I can't be sure. We wasted our money in this expensive place🚮🚮🚮 They have a modern gym plus sauna....

This hotel is an excellent value for money for tourist who wish to make it their travel hub in Nairobi while planning different tours. It's in the Westland area, which is very safe and right next to Westgate Shopping Centre, close to another mall (Sarit). The location is perfect; you can walk to many shopping areas and restaurants. The rooms are nice and clean, and the gym is one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. The staff is invaluable and friendly. The wifi works very well. There is a buffet breakfast available, mainly with Indian dishes, and the food tastes quite good.
