Longonot Place Serviced Apartments - Nairobi, City Centre CBD — Hotel in Nairobi

I recently stayed at Longonot Service Apartment for almost two months. Overall, my experience was quite positive. The apartment was well-maintained, and the facilities were up to the mark. The location is convenient, and the amenities provided were satisfactory.

However, there were a few issues that significantly affected my stay. The housekeeping manager was very rude and unprofessional. On one occasion, she called me to complain about dirty sheets. As a paying guest, I found this approach inappropriate and disrespectful.

Additionally, there is a problem with the hotel's respect for privacy. Even when I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, I was still called or had my door knocked on multiple times. This lack of respect for guest privacy was quite frustrating.

On a positive note, the cleaning lady, Josephine, was very professional. Her work was thorough and she was always polite and respectful, which made my stay more comfortable.

Nice location, okish premises but terrible service. Staff need to be trained starting from the very basics of guest relations and hospitality. This is an apartment hotel where you basically get a whole flat. Since I do not use shoes inside I asked to do the same from the housekeepers but they refused my request. Secondly after three days they threw an invoice under the door which was issued in my name. However it was supposed to be issued to my company. I asked the reception for a new invoice but they told me they cannot change it. 🫤 Why would you issue an invoice without notifying the guest beforehand and why would you issue it well before the checkout? An absolutely thrilling experience there. I stayed for a month, but everyday I was treated like a new client, top notch service and amazing customer reception. I had the eagles view of the city, I can’t get over it. Someone pinch me the get back to reality. I call that my home away from home. I strongly recommend longonot place and apartment for people who are just visiting and want safety, comfort and amazing hospitality.
