I've visited only the restaurant for a set tasting menu during a Gastronomy week in Vilnius. Sad to say they did not live up to their trumped up looks - the interior is opulent but the service is sadly lacking as soon as there's more than 10 guests. It's clear that there are no processes set up to manage a higher than apparently their usual flow of guests. The food is ok, the only choice that was really well prepared was aged beef fillet mignon, this I could definitely have again and agree that it is on par with their interior and prices. Soup was good (white asparagus cream soup with salmon roe and poached quail egg). The starter and chef's compliments were sadly lacking in taste or uniqueness. Mostly what turned me off was the absence of correct processes leaving me waiting for a water refil over 10 minutes a few times after which they simply left the bottle on the table (wise decision, which should have been made immediately, when they realised they can't handle the flow of people). Butter was frozen - had to wait a long time to properly try it, saddly only one kind out of three was actually tasty - the other two had not enough taste of the ingredients that were added. The dessert wine was a really good choice and I'm happy to have tried it. The dessert itself... Well, maybe it's impressive to someone who's after 24 carat gold dust in their plate but that doesn't add anything to the sad taste - I had the Golden apple and there was only gold. Since this is the off season for apples it has no taste or aroma and was just a sad excuse for a dessert. Gorgonzola ice-cream was really interesting except for the fact that it was so frozen we had to wait a while to be able to actually taste it. The compliments to the gorgonzola were very sparse - very little accacia honey and something else, that I can't even remember, you had to hunt for it on your plate to have it together with...

Disappointing Experience for a 5-Star Hotel

This is one of the few 5-star hotels in Vilnius, located in the heart of the Old Town, and designed in a classic style. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t meet the expectations of a true 5-star stay.

The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, and guests are offered a paid parking option about 5 minutes away on foot. We stayed in a Superior Deluxe room, which came with a lovely view of a wall—makes you wonder what the view is like from standard rooms.

The bathroom greeted us with a strong sewage smell, and although it has a TV, there are no instructions on how to use it. Adjusting the room temperature felt like we needed a degree in HVAC engineering, as the controls were overly complex.

In the main room, the TV didn’t work, and only later did we discover it had been unplugged, with the socket placed behind the TV and out of reach.

The so-called “Champagne breakfast” was okay but minimal—no omelets or fried eggs, and instead of champagne, there was sparkling wine, the kind you’d expect at many 4-star hotels.

In the morning, we visited the SPA area, which is small and underwhelming. The jacuzzi water was cool, and the shower had only cold water. Not even a bottle of water or a dispenser was available in the wellness area.

For a hotel with 5 stars, you’d expect attention to detail at every level, but many 4-star hotels in Vilnius are better thought out and more comfortable. Overall, quite disappointing for the...

My girlfriend came up with a surprise trip for our three year anniversary. She chose the Imperial hotel for our stay and it was just wonderful. Before arriving in Vilnius she sent an email to the straff, in which she requested to arrange a surprise for me - a bottle of champagne in our room before our arrival. When we first came to the hotel, the most friendly straff welcomed us. We were not only surprised with the excellent staff - but Also we were upgraded to a junior suite! Shortly after we entered the room, it knocked on the door. I was surprised and chocked to see the friendly staff from the reception with a bucket och champagne and Two glasses. It was a great surprise and the staff pulled it off excelentely, instead of just leaving it in our room. The suite were amazingly beautiful and we slept like kings and queens in a huge and comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing, and we were offered sparkling wine and freshly squeezed juice from the staff. After we had looked around in the city, we stayed in our room and were surprised to hear a second knock on the door. This time the staff handed over a beautiful fruitbasket and to bottle of waters. This hotel and its staff were beyond all of our expectations. We have never stayed at an hotel with higher...

I've been here six hours and read some reviews prior. Most were good. One stood out to me like 'this person is picking on the most trivial things available and Must be a spoiled human being'. I normally wait until after my stay to review, but that bad review may not let me sleep. Perhaps I've had a different past, but this place is amazing. Treated me like I was an executive upon my arrival. I don't drive on my Euro vacations, so I don't have to deal w/parking. But you're in old town. Perhaps a building should be removed so one can have closer parking. I think the TV took 4 minutes to figure out. Only brought my Hulu password and no Hulu. Whaaa. Hint - YouTube for free videos. I don't sit watching TV anyway, but I do like to watch a little local programing to see their TV culture. The HVAC took me 1.5 seconds to turn the dial to 23C. Took me longer to look up 23C to verify that's what I wanted. Some people need spoon-feeding I suppose. Some people aren't happy no matter what you do. Enjoying my complimentary prosecco and mini muffins as I type.
