Bunte Gans — Restaurant in Vilnius

I’ve reserved a table using Tablein. Got confirmation of reservation. While reserving - i have been given several options. Unfortunately, when we have reached restaurant on given time - we were told that our reservation was declined by them and some magical notification was sent by them.

It was really awkward situation to stay there and no option to be given. After some time - we were proposed someone’s reserved table - so not to make others to be embarrassed same way - we have left.

My honest suggestion for staff - to learn using IT systems. And in case of manual cancellation- be so kind and call a client directly.

Incredibly delicious food! Four of us ate duck breast, goose breast, beef in wine sauce and beef with boletus mushrooms. Also had spicy carp bits and liver pate plate for appetizers. Every dish was splendid! Sehr gut german beer too! Also staff was very attentive and at the same time you could not feel their presence. The three of us had coffee in the end and one, when asked if anything for him, said no thanks. We joked that wonder how your 'no thank you' will look like. And what do you know, together with three coffees a little plate with words 'no thank you' written in chocolate syrup was served. That made sure we left with big smiles and will definitely...

I do not leave bad reviews at all- just one in my life ,but: I could put 0 rate if I would..🙄

The waiter refused to make a well-done rib eye or steak for my guest, saying, "We don't spoil good meat." So,ok,I may understand the chef,but doubt - this service.. I ordered chicken with potatoes and girolle mushrooms in double cream for my guest and a grilled goat cheese salad for myself.

The results were disappointing:

The girolle mushrooms came with overcooked double cream, which had curdled and become oily.
