Sunset Seaview Vacation Condos @ Infinity Avenue — Hotel in Borneo

It's my first time renting an apartment. Family getting bigger if u know what i mean. I think it can be better but i also believe it's better than most hotels I have stayed at.

The instructions given were mostly clear. They also provided photos for easy reference.

Cleanliness General i think it was ok. I think it could be better too. My wife mentioned some lichens at the tiles but i did not notice it. The hall and rooms were generally well kept to me.

Services The apartment came with a microwave oven and an induction cooker, including cups, plates, knives, washing detergent and the whole lot.

There was also a washing machine and a drying rack. Mine you that we did not use it.

There is supposed to be a swimming pool. We did not utilise this. So we can't give a comment on it.

Location There were plenty of shops on the ground floor. Most were restaurants and cafes. There were also 2 general shops that ran 24 hours selling bread, noodles, soap and etc.. Those shops do stock up on a good variety of items. The restaurants were serving up some mighty good smelling dishes as we walked passed by.

Imago is just opposite the place. There is a crossover bridge. It's well lit and does feel safe at night.

We spent RM430 for 2 nights. Value for money.

Do not use this company!!!! No signage to locate accommodation from the street. Poor communication, dirty bedding- hair and stained( not clean) , wouldn’t supply clean sheets till the following day as it was after 17:30 and then they still didn’t change them, luckily my wife’s bedding was okay my daughter had to share her bed.Window in the bedroom over looking a building site wouldn’t close, toilet seat broken, bathroom sink tap swivelled round, rusty cutlery, QR code wouldn’t work to pay deposit on key cards which you only find out about just before you get the key cards from a lock box on the back of the building so cash was taken- still not been returned!!! Kind security guard shows my wife and daughter where the lock boxes were at the back of the building. Now they aren’t replying to my messages. My wife and daughter have been home for two weeks. Terrible, disappointing. Ended up checking out early. The only good aspect of this was a nice gentleman who turned up at midday on their second day to fix the window, toilet seat and sink. Would never recommend these...

It is an 'airbnb' style lodging, therefore there is no reception desk. I booked the place via agoda and all communications with the reception office is done via agoda app messenger and therefore check in process is seamless, time and place to meet is predetermined and adjusted to my arrival. The apartment is comfortable and clean. It is a fully functioning apartment with cooking facilities and washing machine (but unfortunately no dryer). Safety is good as there are security guards working 24 hours a day at all entrances. Parking is at the basement and it is free of charge for patrons. Swimming pool and gym are on the roof (accessible with your apartment key card) and well maintained. There are grocery shops within the apartment complex. Food wise, Harbour City is just next door, so do Imago shopping complex and KK Times Square. If you are lazy to travel, may use foodpanda or grabfood for food delivery.
