My partner and I love this restaurant actually because it serves good food, unfortunately NOT the service.
My piece of advice:
Pls don’t do promotion if you are NOT READY. We came for the ‘all u can eat Pizza’ on sunday. The trainee and staff that serving our table were CLUELESS. Only after we asked, then the girl tried to get the wheel stand. While waiting for that, it was a wheel on the mobile that she showed, which also not working. Ended up my partner had to order manually from the list. One of the rules of the promotion is - all the diners of the table needs to be charged. Of course I refused, why do u force me to eat pizza if I want to order something else? Don’t you think it is ridiculous? So the promo was only serving small pizza with 4 slices, and of course within 5 minutes the dish is gone, and my partner had to wait around 8-15 minutes for the next pizza to come out (I did my timer) & our waiting time was 100 minutes for 5 pizzas, and eating time was only 25 minutes altogether for 5 small pizzas. He ordered in advanced so the kitchen can get it ready fast. But probably the rule is to make sure the diner FINISH then only the next pizza will go to the oven, I am totally not sure. Perhaps this is the management way for cost control. But isn’t in the t&c you have stated ‘any left over will be charged’? So why the long waiting time? When I raised my concern as to why the staff seems unaware of promotion going on,and I was told ‘we have not enough staff’. That is such a lame answer, because it doesn’t matter if there are only two staffs if they are well-informed. Why on earth the supervisor or manager did not brief the staffs properly over things like this? You already have good ambience and food, but people will stop coming because of the bad service!
Again I repeat, pls don’t do any promo if the management is not ready.
With that being said, I believe there is room for improvement & hopefully the management can do better next time!...
Read moreExcellent. Excellent. Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here tonight. Staff were courteous and extremely attentive. The interior was cosy and inviting and what struck me was that the acoustics of the space was pleasant; even though music was playing in the background, and other patrons were talking it didn’t feel noisy, plus there seemed to be enough privacy in the open space that one could not hear everyone else’s conversation.
The food was immaculate. The chef is an Italian lady and I personally felt that each dish was crafted with attention and heart using good produce. My only comment was perhaps the actual tortellini and papardelle pasta was a tad too firm in texture for me and no elasticity but that could be my personal preference. We had both tomato and pumpkin soup and they were delicious with rich flavors. The steak was done to perfection; it was succulent and tasty (the meat is fresh, chilled). The parmigiana had perfect distinct layers constructed in such a balanced way it was rich and delicious; it looked like a lasagne.
Tiramisu was non alcoholic and not sweet, light and satisfying. For those who prefer a creamy rich tiramisu may find it too light. The creme brûlée was rich and decadent. The custard was smooth and very creamy. It came accompanied with 2 sweet sponge fingers and creme fraiche (video). The profiteroles came in a set of 3 and were equally yummy.
We had someone celebrating a birthday so the staff sang when they delivered the decorated tiramisu.
All in all. Was a lovely dinner experience. Would definitely go there again to try their other dishes. Some might say it is pricey but this is real food in a cosy lovely atmosphere. not mass...
Read more(Last month june) Is this restaurant really open until 10pm ? When we came lastnight around 8pm, one of the staff waitress told us it's closing time already. We ask aren't this restaurant 10pm close? And she said yes but we closing already. 🤔 she also said got customer came before us but they already told them too it's closing time.. 8pm ? I thought this restaurant open until 10pm, last order is 9.30pm 🤔 everywhere said until 10pm from facebook, instagram and google ~ unless the waitress said they got event going on or something, we understand but this no. Better change la to 8pm closing time if 8pm don't take customer already.
To reply back, just to be clear : fyi we speak malay ya at that time , and the hostess on duty at that time understand it very well when we ask twice and she answer us, so what do u mean she did not catch my "english accent" when we speak malay at that time 😊 The hostess even told us that the customer before us that came in told them it's closing time 😊, so what do you mean she did not mean to say that it was close? When your hostess already tell us like that. Btw i already check at that time if got any private event ongoing in social media and u guys no private event ongoing at that time. And if la, if got private event and no inform in social media , the hostess on duty at that time should tell us got private event on going but sadly no ya. She just said it's close time, we even ask twice to makesure if really closing time at 8pm and she said yes. Disappointed, we arrived around 8pm ya, not 9pm. Imagine the customers before us that came and the hostess on duty already told them it's...
